Why did Cheryl Cole think "Love Machine" was cr*p ?
She couldn't discern a song of quality.

It was awfully cheesy, I think that's what she is referring too. She's said it was crap a number of times before now so not sure why it's just made headlines.
Besides, music is purely subjective, you like what you like and you don't what you don't. People on DS seem to hate Cheryl Cole's 3 words single but the music critics say it's the best track on her album and think it's innovative and sophisticated (this is from the likes of The Observer and The Guardian, not heat magazine). |

Not often I agree with the Cole. Chezza cannot sing or spot a decent track - her solo outing is worse than GA. |

"Love Machine" is better than any of the pap of that Cheryl's inflicted on the world as a solo artist.

Why did she think it was crap? Because she wouldn't be able to take on the huge vocal task of the "bam, bam, bam, badda, badam, bam" at the beginning.

tbh I think it's one of their weaker tracks, yet others think it's one of their strongest. Down to preference, I suppose.

because she has her own opinion, do you honestly believe all five girls like every song they have recorded?

It's just her opinion. You can't explain what makes you like/dislike something.

This is not news, its been public knowledge since 2006.
She also doesn't like the No Good Advice video. She was also against See The Day from the off. Never wanted to cover it, and certainly didn't want to release it. Wonder if DS want to do an exclusive on on either of them!! |

Yup, they (GA) all have their favourite/least favourite songs.
Nicola recently said she hated The Loving Kind, for example. 3 of the girls wanted it but 2 hated it. |

Yeah. Nicola and I think Kimberly hated Loving Kind, didn't they? Ungrateful bitches. Pet Shop Boys wrote that! They should be glad such musical legends agreed to write for them!

Arctic Monkey's version on BBC Radio One Live Lounge was good, shame Girls Aloud had to record a crap version before anyone heard the song.

Quite right - it was a diabolical song.

All of Girls Aloud found it way too cheesy to start with, and at first refused to release it because they'd previously released more edgy songs such as Sound of the Underground.

Fair enough if Cheryl doesn't like 'Love Machine'. I like it myself. Good fun pop song.
![]() So Girls Aloud aren't pushing musical boundaries like the likes of Bowie, The Beatles etc, but I like them as a group and I think they've done some great songs. |

I'm not a girls aloud fan at all, but I'm sure they were not ungrateful. They just didnt't like the song.

They're not ungrateful bitches, geez ! That said, it does surprise me that it's those 2 that dislike TLK because their bit in it is awesome, and the best part of the song for me !! I love it.
If the stupid cows don't like the songs they are given, then maybe they should get off their skinny, good for nothing arses and get writing themselves. As you can probably tell, I'm not a huge GA fan. I like some of their music, but individually some of those girls (Nicola and Nadine for me) just seem like such bitches. Cheryl, Sarah and Kimberly seem ok... |

This isn't really new news, in their Bio they wrote how they didn't like it because they thought everyone would criticise them for doing Busted/McFly stuff, and they wanted edgy and RnB stuff, looking back they said they didn't believe how naive they were to doubt the 'Mania.

None of them liked the song but have grown too after seeing the reaction to it at the concerts. As soon as the opening bars start the crowd just roar and go fo it.
IMO it is that type of song. Listen to it cold on the radio, TV or CD and it doesn't work but hear it live or at a party ansd you just get into it. A bit like Reach by S Club, YMCA, I Will Survive and Dancing Queen. If you are at a party and none of them get you on the dancefloor then book a place at the morgue because you're dead. |
