In the last year I've really taken to P!nk in a massive way. I bought her 'Funhouse' album last year, loved it and then decided to buy some of her other stuff including the 'Missundaztood', 'Try This' and 'I'm Not Dead' albums. I've also bought videos off iTunes including the video singles from her first album 'Can't Take Me Home'. It's only a matter of time before I buy it as my finger has been hovering over the 'Buy Album' button recently.

So what I'd like to know from people who have her first album is which songs do you like and your general opinion of it compared to her other albums. All comments welcome - ta very muchly!

Personally I never really liked Pink till I'm Not Dead era and Funhouse era as she came into her stride then. The first album has a very different sound, its more manufactured, P!nk was more controlled and it's quite R n B like.

MASSIVE pink fan here, her first album is rubbish in all fairness, it has some ok songs on it like, 'Can't Take Me Home', 'Split Personality' and 'Hell Wit Ya' as well as the singles. I bought it purely to say I have all her albums but I never listen to it. Her best album is definitely a toss up between Funhouse and I'm Not Dead.

completely disagree. "can't take me home" is my second favourite pink album, after "i'm not dead".

it's very r'n'b for sure, but i think it's a genre that suits her voice to a t. the singles "there you go" and "most girls" are great, "split personality" is also great, and the two ballads "stop falling" and "is it love" are superb. there is a bit of what i consider to be filler, but realistically you get that with all albums to a certain extent.

buy it! i got it a month or two after it came out, all those years ago, and still occasionally listen to it. however be aware that it's not her like her recent rock-light work.

Really liked Pink when I first heard There You Go and Some Girls and I really liked her "You Can't Take Me Home" album too. However, I went off her straight away once she started the transformation into being a "rawk chick"

Thanks for the input so far guys. As I already have the videos to 'Most Girls', 'There You Go' and 'You Make Me Sick' I realise that this is a different style album to her other albums - more R 'n' B than pop. I actually quite like 'Most Girls' and 'There You Go' and they're growing on me with each play which has surprised me as I'm not usually keen on R 'n' B.

Her voice is distinctive to me on those songs I have but I can see just on those 3 songs alone she's progressed as an artist. I love her! Fab voice, songs, attitude via her lyrics, look etc! Would love to see her perform live one day.

I have all her albums I would say that her 1st one is my least favourite of them all however i do really love the singles she released from it such as "there you go", "most girls" & "split personality".

I think Pink's an amazing artist that probs doesn't get the credit she actually deserves lol.... Have seen her 3 times live & she is definetly my fave live performer Totally love her lol & will be making it 4 times when i see her on her Funhouse Carnival tour next year

I would say yeah the album is decent & maybe worth a listen like so i'm glad i got it as i just love all her music but i wouldn't say its a must have as she has changed so much since that album like.... But why not lol if you have all the other albums Great taste btw lol haha...

I love Pink I've never been fussed on her first album though. The singles are all fantastic (There You Go is one of my all time faves!) as is the title track and Hiccup but i find the rest a bit forgetful.

I geniunely think she gets better with each album. I saw her live in May and she was totally fantastic. I can't wait to see her again.

I think her first album has some of her best tracks on it, but also some of her worst.

Most Girls is one of my all time favourite P!nk tracks and I think You Make Me Sick is one of her signature tunes that has everything in it P!nk is all about. I never found those singles to really be any more RnB than what followed on Missundaztood to be honest.

I'd still recommend buying it, it's worth a few listens.

Try this is her worst era in her career. It wasn;t until I'm not dead where i really paid attention to Pink and she became one of my fav artists of all time. Funhouse, for me it's her best album to date and just proved she is rocking it with more attitude on her 5th album.

I have all Pink's albums and I actually think Try This is my favourite. It has so many styles on it. Catch me While I'm Sleeping is brilliant

I've bought it! Listening to it amongst some other songs from albums I've bought recently. Will give each song at least 5 plays before giving a definite verdict. From what I've heard so far, I'm liking it.

I see there is a DVD from her recent 'Funhouse' tour live in Australia. *Strokes chin* Might end up getting this.

Totally Agree, Try This is sitting at 68 full listens on my iTunes (Which covers from around January last year when I had to get a new computer) Funhouse is sitting down at 32.

For me Try This is the best full album, the whole album works together, nothing seems amiss in it and it sounds fresh each time I listen to it, whilst Funhouse and I'm Not Dead have a few better songs, they also have a couple of songs that after 4 or 5 listens become tedious and repetitive, something Try This doesn't suffer from.

It's one of my all time favourite albums.
