I have a Sony Walkman, and so does my Mam yet she calls hers an iPod. With my new laptop I actually have iTunes for the first time, though the drag and drop option is preferrable to having an iPod and syncing to one device

Creative Zen 32gb Girl here. We're a Creative household, with Mrs Fluff having a Zen V+, and us both having had previous models too. Have got the inlaws on the act too, with them having either Zens or the new Mosaic (SIL got one for Christmas). Mine's still going strong after 18 months despite my relentless use of it (up to 12 hours a day use every day!). Just had a clear out and freed a couple fo gb but otherwise it's almost always full!

I don't have an iPod. I have an MP3 player from ASDA, but to be honest, I still quite happily listen to my Discman.

I'm having a weird noughties nostalgia moment, and I've decided to dig out all of my iPods!

I couldn't find them all though:

... and one of them isn't mine.

The only reason I have iPods is that they're the only [MP3] players that (as far as I know) 'Remember Playback Position' which if you listen to audiobooks is essential.

Don't have an ipod or an iphone. Never have, and never will.

Quite happy with my Samsung YP-K5 mp3 player and my N97 mini thanks.

ust been reading through this thread and glad its not just me thinking that I-Tunes is a right pain in the proverbial to use. So if I get rid of the i-pod and buy an mp3 player can I just drag and drop my music in nice n easy?

majority of them yes, usually get better format support, better sound, build quality, battery life, etc etc

I do have an iPod but before that I had a Tecknika thing from Tesco. For the price it costs back when I got it, you could now buy an 8GB iPod Touch for a wee bit more!

I love my iPod. It's so handy - I don't think I could ever just have a bog standard music player again...

Apple?? the modern day emporers clothes, doesnt matter how c**p it is at what it does just dress it up and make it look pretty and people will buy it.

In the cold heart of day if people looked at the facts not the looks most would probably not buy an Apple anything.

Dont have anything Apple in any way shape or form and never will, there is better in all ways, sound, battery life and why fasten yourself to I Tunes??

As for the phone, its brilliant at everything apart from? oh yeh making phone calls.

Also why does everything come with an ipod dock even bloody cars?? Hello manufacturers of the world we dont all own them and in fact the majority of the world doesnt.

Whats next human beings with built in ipod docks?? Apple have probably already spoken to god about that one.

Gimme my Sony any day

I got me and the missus a 20gb ATMT Storm. Very basic but all I wanted was an small external hard drive that thinks it's an mp3 player that also has a screen big enough to browse the folders.

http://www.atmtgroup.com/storm.html

They cost about £30 about 14 months ago. I think it's been discontinued now.

I don't like Ipods and would never get one. I prefer Creative MP3 players. I previously had a vision M. I now had a 16gb Zen and I love it

We are also a Creative household, my Oh has a xfi2 16gb too

I have the first edition X-Fi, and its absolutely brilliant, miles better than any mp3 player I've had in the past! the X-Fi 2 can only be an improvement on it. I'm thinking about upgrading myself!

Not interested in ipods or iphones. Happy just to use my Nokia phone at the moment. Why bother with 32 or even 68GB etc, when the battery will probably be gone after a couple of albums worth.......

I don't have an iPod.

All I've got is my Sony Ericsson phone, which has 8GB built in memory. That'll last me until the Windows Phone 7 Series phones come out with Zune built in

i do not have one or any mp3 player for that matter..
and dont want one and will never want one...
my smartphone supports it but never put any music on ther either..
i only listen to music in the house at great volumes, or in the car, so dont have need for one...

and whats more, i am annoyed at the fact that I am looking to buy a new hi-fi for the living room, and finding one that i both like and that that DOESNT have a great ugly ipod dock on the front is like trying to find the proverbial needle...
hey electronics manufacturers, not everyone has an ipod you know!!

i see one and think "oh i like the design on that, oh look ipod dock never mind....!!"
