Hi there,

My gran has a old BT CELLNET SURF & SPEAK Pay As You Go phone and sim.

She uses it for just emergency calls so she leaves it in her car so it doesn get used much only once in a blue moon.

I know BT CELLNET is now 02 but she has £13 something credit and when she trys to make a call it puts her though to the top up.

Does this tariff have to have a certain amout on the phone? eg £20min as my g/f has a 02 sim and she can run it right down to 1p.

When was the last time she made a chargeable call or topped up her phone. I'm not sure but form what others have said I understand you must either top-up or make a call at least once every 90 days.

Sounds like thats the prob, i`ll get her to top it up then keep making calls b 4 the 90days are up. thanks for your help
