I like to flip through music magazines from time to time Q or Rolling Stone or even Blender, and I was noticing on their websites some of the elitism that goes on when the magazines show their next cover.

Now I am open to everyone's taste in music and I understand some have more refined tastes. You and I may not like the same artists I also know not to worry about message boards. However I get a bit fed up with all these people obsessing on who should be on the cover of a "Music" magazine and who shouldn't, even if they are all musicians, considering some artists flash in the pan one hit wonders.

I guess I understand if they were putting Teeny-boppers on every cover but I do hate it when people say "This magazine has lost it's credibility by putting Cheryl Cole or Britney on the cover and they ignore so and so as they are a much superior artist" That may be so in some people's eyes, but I hate that kind of dicrimination, saying that only certain artists can be on the cover of a MUSIC magazine. I am not against people's music tates and distastes, but I don't believe certain artists should be banned because of who they are. There should actually be a mix of everybody, though I do agree certain magazines go overboard.

I guess I just hate it when people say music magazines have lost their credibility.
