Not sure if this is the place, but will the problems of the bb forum's layout be corrected in time for the next series start?

Imagine a packed forum with these silly little pages

I'm not having any problems, Trashcan. Perhaps you should contact the site management directly for help?

Although the forums seem smaller in size than the others at my current resolution of 1600x1200, it works fine at 800x600 and there is only a minor reduction at 1024x768.

If it's a problem I'd suggest reducing the screen resolution.

D'oh is that why this forum only appears about 2/3 the width of all the other ones?

It's not your screen. It's the resolution that the forum is optimised for. There was a noise made about having to scroll to the right when they came on to the first revision of this forum whilst viewing in 800x600. It was corrected yet seems to have caused it to seem squashed for the rest of us. I don't mind though.

Following those early scrolling problems the page now seems the same size as before to me

But each page does seem to take a long time to open. If this is happening now when the forum is dead, think what it will be like during BB5 .....................

ps - don't like this new EEK smiley and i keep clicking on 'yawn' thinking it's my old friend

I don't like the new smilie either, it's like something out of a horror film.

Please bring back the old EEK smilie, DS

The old one was better too. It came across with much more venom than the new one.

I too have this 'narrow page' annoyance..

In real terms in means less posts on a page and more pages to a thread.
