Favourite songs of the noughties
Having seen the show The Best Songs of the Noughties between 2000 and 2009, what would be your favourite song for each year and does it have any special significance or meaning?
For me 2000 Music by Madonna reminds me of when my friends and I were into Ali G 2001 Another Chance by Roger Sanchez, reminds me of my second year of Sixth Form 2002 This Years Loving by David Gray 2003 Leave Right Now by Will Young when I could not decide whether to stay at college after suffering some hard times 2004 Good Luck by Basement Jaxx 2005 Ashes by Embrace 2006 Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. Sad, reflective song I listened to when my Grandad passed away. 2007 How to Save a life by the Fray 2008 Beggin by Madcon reminds me of when I found a Christmas job and made some new friends. 2009 Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night by Black Eyed Peas. Just a good feel good song that has helped me forget my troubles this year. Last edited by newcastlefan84 : 30-12-2009 at 11:08. Reason: Needed to add text |
