HDR not playing jpeg Photo's

Purchesed Foxsat in november so far eveything going smoothly, any questions i've had so far i can find answers on these forum pages up until now. Photo's, decided to put wedding pics onto hdr formated usb to ext3 draged jpeg's onto it put in usb slot hdr recognises it open up there are the pics, pick photo tab go to edit mode , highlight jpeg's copy they copy over onto allocated space on hard drive but when i try to play them i get not supported file message, have trawled through this forum but cannot find an answer any help appreciated

Some of my JPEG's were OK on the Humax, others were not.

I put it down to the type of encoding used, either Standard or Progressive.

When I re-encoded the ones that didn't work using Standard JPEG encoding they were then OK.

Before ypu copy them try and play from usb. If they are from a high res camera the file sizes maybe too large. Best performance is attained by cropping to 16:9 and resamplinng to 1920 x 1080 in photo editing software. I have an action in Photoshop that resamples the pictures, this also minimises load times for slide shows. I tested progreesive jpegs and they worked fine at the above size.

Thanks Guy's thought there would be more to it than the manual says i have a copy of photo shop somewhere will give it a go in next couple of days
