It's giving me ideas for breakfast/lunch tomorrow.
I got some Sweetcure Middle bacon at the weekend. It's the first time i'd had that cut and it's great. It's even round to suit the bun. Also lookout for Lancashire oven bottom muffins. They are great buns. Not to cardboardy and not to soft. |

And sometimes the bacon is sooo good that you don't even need sauce. |

Smoked Bacon. No sauce. But I can't. Bacon is off the menu for me I am afraid.

HP sauce is heaven and a must! You get that nice taste from doing the bacon in a pan aswell, in the microwave it just goes soggy and tasteless.

Brown sauce is vile! Ketchup sometimes overpowers the bacon.
My perfect bacon sandwich is crispy bacon, a squeeze of lemon juice and ground black pepper on fluffy white bread. Mmm. |

No sauce!
Brown or red! It has to be... a fried egg, seasoned, with runny yolk

Brown sauce only.
White bread only. Your own choice of bacon, I prefer unsmoked back. |

OK, bacon and peanut butter is a match made in heaven, but what is this bacon/marmalade witchcraft? It is the work of the devil, I say!
![]() Also plenty of butter but not enough to kill the marmalade
