Muse probably. They have released 4 albums of consistent brilliance and are hugely creative and diverse, never afraid to do something different. They are also probably the best and most entertaining live band in the world.

Eminem.

Like Toy Soldiers, Lose Yourself and Stan are absolutely timeless tracks, imo. Love them.

I'd say Beyonce as my favourite female artist.

Beyoncé
Lady GaGa
Justin Timberlake
Shakira
P!nk
Eminem
Mariah Carey

I'm going to try to broaden my musical horizons this year/decade though. I have heard that Muse are good so I might try to get into them. I already like 'Supermassive Black Hole'.

Madonna

From the great start to the decade with the Music single and album the single being one of my favourite Madonna songs.

Through to the not great singles from American Life but i do really like the album.

To the fantastic Confessions album with Hung Up not just one of my favourite Madonna songs one of the songs of the decade especially the album version there are numerous other songs on Confessions which i love.

To an ok end with the Hard Candy album with Give It To Me and Beat Goes On, special mention to the Celebration single which i love unfortunately not many others did.

Also two great tours Re-invention and Confessions, Sticky and Sweet was ok but not a patch on the previous two tours.

The Cribs, Pete Doherty and both his great bands, Kasabian, Primal Scream, Florence and Glasvegas.

I know Glasvegas have had some flak but they are a good live band, James Allen has a beautiful, distinctive voice and I have big hopes for them in the future.

Carrie Underwood by far. Her albums are amazing, her voice is phenomenal and she is one of the few artists that can sing live these days without needing a backing track.

Seth Lakeman. His albums are just beautiful. The stories he tells through his songs are pretty impressive and I love the wide array of instruments he uses.

Beyonce. Her voice is just Wow and she puts on such a show.

Adele. 19 is my favourite ever album. Every song on it is just beautiful and I love her voice. Her version of Make You Feel My Love is just sublime

KT Tunstall. Her 2nd album was a disappointment, but Eye to the Telescope was just fantastic. Heal over is still one of my favourite ever songs.

Lady GaGa. Don't really need to explain why she is so awesome.

Brad Paisley. Brilliant voice. Brilliant songs. Nice dude.

Michael Buble. His voice seems so effortless, can't help but enjoy his music. LOVE his version of Cry me a River

The Libertines. A brief career but it kickstarted an entire wave of indie music.

Arctic Monkeys who are surely the foremost band of that genre in the decade.

Muse for being so unique and out there. Bob Dylan for making top-quality albums throughout the decade again.
