Just watching this for the first time. That scene where Tennant jumps out of the hatch in the spaceship, to free fall through the glass skylight onto the marble floor is a bit much. Even James Bond wouldn't be that reckless!

Now Matt Smith's time on the show has been and gone. We have got another new Doctor on his way in less than three weeks time.
I'm so looking forward to this.
Apparently, Peter Capaldi has been a lifelong fan of the show, especially the Daleks. That's why the Daleks are going to be in the next series. Peter said to Steven and the production team about the Daleks, and Steven said "No. The Daleks aren't going to be seen this year."After a bit of begging from Peter, Steve and the current team gave in, and allowed the Daleks to appear with the new Doctor.
The Daleks will be seen with Peter Capaldi, apparently

I just did. I picked 'good', not very good or excellent. I thought it was an enjoyable watch, but not the best ever.
I've got The End of Time on DVD, on the 2 disc Master set. Featuring Terror of the Autons on disc 1, and The End of Time on disc 2. I've now got The End of Time parts 1 and 2 on one disc, as supposed to two, as originally released.
I now don't have to get out of bed to change the disc, in order to see part 2.
Watched this recently as part of my nu who rewatch, really enjoyed it. On the matt smith 1st season now but not enjoying that as much.
I Remember when Matt popped up at the end of this and i was like "NO! not a chance is he going to be good!" i thought he was too young, his hair was awfull.
and now 4 years on i can happily say that i honestly wept when matt departed, more than i did when david left and David is and always will be the Doctor for me.

It was a decent episode, and the story was good. Tennant, Simm, Cribbins and Dalton were all fantastic. However, the regeneration was very poorly done, and I found the general attitude towards regeneration in the episode very distasteful. 5/10.
