I really hope "Geronimo" is not his new catchphrase because it is annoying me just from viewing the trailer!

Looks good. I think MS may prove to be rather good. I wish the Daleks weren't in it, that would be my only gripe. Glad to see the angels back though. I wonder how much of a year zero it will be? No more Rose/Donna/Wilf stuff I hope, that should be buried now I think.

I like it! Head first and headstrong. It says a lot about the character.

I really, sincerely hope so. I loved it, don't get me wrong, but it had all become rather unwieldy, and needed a good clean out.

Did we see Silurians in that Trailer? Seemed to be updated at least - but the gun the female one was holding reminded me of the original Doctor's adventures.

Although saying that the Sea Devils and the Silurians were closely related - however this may be another offshot of the same family tree?

I've just watched the trailer and I feel exactly the same way. I was hoping the Daleks would be given a rest for a while, but oh well. I'm really looking forward to series five now.

By the time the new series starts, it'll be almost 2 years since we last saw them (not including the crashed ships on Gallifrey, of course).

I like the new look of the show; it almost looks like the old days of the Dr. I am not sure I like the idea of a clean start though! In past regenerations, the Dr has changed but all around him is the same i.e his assistant and other support cast.

Yes, but given that there were only 4 episodes in 2009 it's really not that much of a gap. So bored of the tin cans now. They have been done to death.

2 years is actually a pretty short space of time between seeing an alien race again... especially considering the last time you seen them they were wiped out of existence............. again.

For a while, yes in most cases. However it's getting too much like a case of bring back Rose, bring back Donna, bring back some guy who was in one episode sweeping a floor. Done to death, like the daleks.

I was about to say the same thing, but then I remembered that one was in The Waters of Mars, in a flashback (the captain as a little girl!)

I was hoping we would get at least one full series without them for a change, given that they've been in every one since 2005. It doesn't feel like it's been nearly two years since we last saw them, so it still seems a bit early to bring them back again for me.

That said, I was glad to see what appeared to an old-style Dalek in the trailer.
