How did the Ood get back to 2005?
When they originally appeared they were slaves and that was set way in the future. (impossible planet and satan pit).
Plot hole or a future plot opportunity?
Mark.

At the end, Ood Sigma was just an apparition.

On The Planet of the Ood (their normal timeframe), the year is after the events of TIP and TSP.

Including George & Lorraine failing to notice that their son is the spitting image of his mother's former high-school boyfriend?

You'd think they'd have split up over that?

What? So now we have ghosts and the supernatural as well as all the other prophecy mumbo-jumbo?

So much for the Doctor being a rational scientist who was sceptical of the paranormal...

Would you recognise a Big Issue seller who'd asked you to buy their magazine if 12 months later they asked you again?

Not to mention that she'd had the most amazing adventures with the Doctor. Do you really think she'd remember the face of some drunk guy she met for a minute and a half on New Year's Eve the year before?

Ahh but in a way a ghost or the supernatural would be easily explained in a pre worry phase of dying.

Also the funny thing about prophecy's while it's a message or a warning there is always something funny to come from them. However most of the prophecy's I have seen in drama ranging from Alias, Angel, Doctor Who, Buffy there was more than one real clear cut answer to them.
