Not distracting. it will be nice to have an attractive assistant for once rather than boot face Tate. (Depite all the plaudits I still cannot abide her and pray they do not bring the one trick pony back.)

Somehow, I don't think there'll be too many complaints about Gillan being distracting. Not even if she is.

For me, the most important factors are if she can act, and doesn't have an annoying accent!
