Went on Fri 8th to Buxton Opera House. Had a long journey by train from the Midlands. Not advisable to drive in the Peak District.

The show was stupendous. Didn't stay in Brendan's Hotel, which it a pity, though we stayed in another good hotel. Well worth seeing.

Just gotten back from the show at Newcastle! LOVED IT!

It was late starting due to sound difficulties - another drink at the bar then! Brendan held the show together brilliantly.. his dancing was of course amazing! The live band were phenominal! It was all put together really well - I want to go again! Does Sheffield have tickets left and can I get the night off work?

P.S. Glad to say that there were lots below the age of 60 in the audience and plenty of loud Brendan fans of my generation!

Brendan was just on Radio 5. Caught the end of it thanks to "Who Am I?". Talked about his show a little.. and answered some listener questions. Lovely voice

Just got back from Manchester! After the panic about the weather last week the trip down and back from Glasgow was no problem.

The show was amazing and so was the man himself. He even told me when he planned to bring the show to Glasgow and it is fairly soon! Hope I will manage to get front row tickets again. You can never be too close!

Wow! You travelled a long way to be there! At Newcastle there were some people from Dundee or was it Dumfries... anyway.. Scotland They asked why he didn't come to Scotland in the Q&A bit and he promised to go to Scotland later in the year with another tour.

I'm still on a high after seeing him on Sunday night

did anyone else go to Newcastle on Sunday?

I saw a photo from someone else at another venue and there was a curtain at the front with a Brendan Logo. The venue at Newcastle (City Hall) didnt have anywhere to hang that I guess. So that means I NEED to see it agaiin.. right?

At the last minute I bought a ticket for Croydon on Tuesday and was a bit worried when it snowed overnight as I lived over an hour and a half away by public transport.

I went along mainly to support Nicole Cutler but after last night's brilliant show I'm starting to warm to Brendan.

It was thoroughly entertaining, the band and singers were absolutely superb and in my opinion much better than the band on Strictly.

The dancing was breathtaking, especially the Viennese Waltz, with Julie Maguire singing the Whitney classic I Have Nothing. Her voice was just phenomenal. I just sat there wowed. It was also her birthday and she was presented with a card and cake from the cast and band.

Brendan's singing wasn't too bad, I've heard worse but at least it's better than CRH's.

Anton was in the audience this evening. We were asked to get up and dance along to the salsa - a bit difficult given the tight seating and me wearing timberland boots. When it finished Brendan said even Anton managed to do it well, haha.

Was at the show in Newcastle travelled from Scotland. Great show and Brendan was entertaining chatting with the audience as well. Met him outside where he signed lots of autographs and got my picture taken with him. He has promised to come to Scotland in the summer of 2010 (he gets married then too). Did anyone else meet him?

It is a fantastic show, I really enjoyed it. Brendan really is the consumate host, witty and quick too!

His singing was ok actually, and the dancing was superb.

The singers and the band were great and as it was at Southend, Jo Wood was in the audience and came on near the end for a little dance, bless

Another great review, this time from Brighton. It sounds like the tour is a great success:

'' Review: Brendan Cole – Live and Unjudged
Brendan Cole, his five dancers, great band and singers raised the roof of the Dome with a show that was truly entertaining. A whirlwind display of latin and ballroom dances, a few songs and a bit of banter made for a well rounded evening. The real joy, though, was seeing the dance live and not through the over-complex eyes of TV camera men. Lovers of Strictly… should catch this show and discover the true grace and elegance of ballroom dancing as well as the excitement. Fab frocks, great choreography and fantastic dancers – and Cole is a real charmer.
Concert Hall, Brighton Dome, 23 December

Do it Peach!

I saw Brendan last Friday and would happily go again if he was appearing somewhere local.

If only I'd logged in and read your post an hour ago! I would have gone! Never mind that I would have had to catch a train back at 10 pm and potentially miss the end of the show... or stay overnight... would that be a bad thing?

I am thankful for all the great reviews the show is getting from the papers. Maybe they're unbiased reviews! Reassures me that I'm not just in lust with Brendan! lol
