Do we think SM will stick to the same format?
As we know, RTD set up each series with a running theme, leading to the big finale - do we think Mr Moffatt will stick to a similar formula?
I was just thinking about this because Classic Who didn't really have big finales and didn't have major themes running through the series as such. I know there was the key to time season, but on the whole the set up of each classic series was nothing like it was when RTD brought it back.... So, thoughts? |

Pretty sure SM has already said that the big finales will remain.
I don't think this series will be as different as some people think it will. Of course he will, and has, made some stylistic changes, but the actual structure and feel of the series won't be that dissimilar imho. |

There was some continuity throughout classic Who.
Try watching Genesis of The Daleks without having watched Sontaran Experiement (first thing people say is "Umm, where's the Tardis? What's going on?" But try watching Sontaran Experiment without having seen Ark in Space.... All of which leads nicely full circle back to Revenge of the Cybermen, to return to the Ark once again ![]() That said, yes each story was pretty much self contained, with only a few bits of bleed out from others. |

yes i think the story arc s will remain as it helps to keep people watching laying breadcrumbs for people to keep following till the eventual payoff
