I think that it was right that Mikey was in the skate off tonight but think he should have been saved over Daniella.

Robin has contradicted himself. Both routines were of a similar level and he said on DOI Friday when that is the case he takes this into account the required element and Mikey's was clearly better.

Loved Mel's lay back spin but think it might have been a mistake to include it as it meant focus was understandably on her.

I will miss Mikey & Mel. Hope Mikey can relax on tour and we see some good performances from him there, although he won't challenge the leaders clearly.

Gutted to see them go...but there's always the tour!

He said something like it was his hardest adventure he's done & when asked said the fall had effected him.Phillip talked about Mikey not been able to practise much last week & asked for Mel's thoughts.Danny's routine was mentioned & they were asked who they fought would win.They both said Hayley but think Mikey is supporting Danny,he mentioned Gary & Keiron too.
Oh & Mikey said Ronan was gutted he was out!

Just booked for the DOI tour at Sheffield,can't wait to see Mikey & Mel again.Hope they do either the week 2 dance to Snow Patrol or the week 3 comedy routine to Cecilia

I think they should definitely do those 2 routines as well. (Not sure if you have been to the tour before Mary but each couple does 2 routines - 1 in the 1st half which is scored and then another in the 2nd half just for fun.)

I know Kyran is a judge this year but I'd love Mel to skate with him again in the 2nd half. I don't think she will be skating any Boleros with Mikey so am sure she could fit it in.

I booked rinkside last night for Birmingham. May go to the 02 as well but rinkside is a bit more expensive there and not sure if I can afford it. May see if I can get tickets near the front of the lower tier nearer the time if they release any last minute tickets.

Going to miss Mikey and Mel tonight

Have bought tickets to the tour for the first time to see them skate though (plus to see Fred and Mel skate together too!)

Agree that the show will definitely be missing a spark now that the 'Ice Man' is goneth.

Not really a Boyzone fan but pleased that the album is number 1, especially as I read somewhere that Paddy's day would also have been Stephen's 34th Birthday.

Yeah, very happy for Mikey and the rest of Boyzone that the album has gone to number one, it's a great album and something very different from them. Even if you're not usually a Boyzone fan it's def worth giving it a chance as it's not your typical 'boyband' album. Love that there's a lot more of Mikey's vocals on the album too!

You're right, 17th would've been Steo's birthday so it's great they can be number one for that. There's also two shows next Sunday about Boyzone so, even though we may not get Mikey on DOI as least we get to see them all on TV next Sunday!

Then weekend after is the DOI final so we get Mikey back on the ice again!

I nearly forgot that they weren't skating this week, and started looking for them.

They are missed.

Nice sentiments from Jayne & Chris too. In a DOI context would also like to have heard from Clare & Kyran as they were all great friends - Kyran spoke at his memorial service.

Good to see Mikey in the Tribute Show & then Documentory.I think they could have had ,say Kyran too as the same people were used alot.

Mikey & Mel have started training again for the tour

Looks like Mikey & Mel were really unlucky to go when they did. They were 2nd in the public vote the week they left. I think if Mikey had shown more improvement then they were the only ones that could have challenged Hayley & Dan for the title.

Am really hoping the fact that they did Cecelia on Sunday means that they are doing this on the tour - definitely their best routine. I love Mel's hair in that too!!
