Such a shame about the mistake. I think he would have topped the leaderboard but for that. Robin certainly seemed to think so, although Jason wouldprobably still have given him 2.5 for not holding his chin up enough.

I think if he skates clean then he wll be a real contender. would be great for Mel to win again.

I thought the VT was very emotional. Decided not to get involved in the discussion on this in the main show thread as I thought that some of the posts were too harsh. It was inevitable that he was going to get asked about it. If they hadn't menioned Stephen i think everybody would have been shocked.

So glad they're through. Although I felt sure that they would be safe due to mikey's popularity, i was still a bit nervous before Phil called out their name.

Let's hope for a clean skate next week & he will go shooting up that leaderboard. There's no Ray equivalent this year so it's wide open.

Me too! Even so Mikey and Mel could have topped the public vote - we have no way of knowing Hope he has a mistake free week next week as he looks as though he could go a long way. Also like Keiron and Danny from the boys but Mikey is my favourite.

I love love love Mikey!! Have done since I was about 13 - I am now 25! It's always bothered me that he was always in the background in Boyzone but as Emma said, now is his time to shine. And I agree he looks gorgeous in red

Loved Mikey since I was 11 and am now 25 too! I'm so glad so many people are finally seeing what a great guy he is - even fans of Boyzone who perhaps didn't pay him a lot of attention because he was so quiet and private.

Anyway Mikey was great tonight - shame about the slip up, but I look forward to what the Ice Man does next. He cerainly impressed the judges.

I get the feeling the DM aren't going to help Mikey Graham very much. They did feature an article of his rehearsal where he fell over the barrier (classic! ), but they've barely mentioned him in their article about last night's show, compared to the way they've described the other performances.

It actually made me wonder whether they're not happy about the reaction to Stephen Gately's death still.

I thought Mikey was great anyway - the stumbles obviously lowered his mark, but he was a lot better than I was expecting, I thought it was a good performance, and definitely potential if he gets better confidence on the ice.

I haven't clicked on the Daily Mail link as I find it a vile paper, typified by that nasty Jan Moir article.

Given that Boyzone have been critical of that article I'm not surprised. I bet they are trying to dredge up some dirt on Mikey to scupper his chances of winning.

I missed the show on Sunday because I was away! I only really want to see Mikey and Mel.

I can't watch it on the ITV site because I'm from Ireland.

I thought Mikey and Mel did an admirable routine on Sunday !
I think he will grow in confidence as he has the right
type of attitude, and has considerable skill on the ice for a
beginner!

I read that Jan Muir article in the Daily Mail about Stephen
and found it most distasteful, especially to his partner and
most of all his family given that they were only coming to
terms with his demise and were arranging his funeral

Mikey is my favourite. I've been a Boyzone fan for over 14 years so it only made sense to support him. I thought he did a great job on Sunday.

Lovely guy and surprisingly good on the ice. Such a shame about the slip. I'm going to be looking forward to him every week.

Gorgeous song and a very emotional video, but it's a lovely tribute to Stephen.

I'm very impressed with Mikey. I didn't think he would have been good at all. It's a shame about the slip. He has a lot of potential and could likely be a contender for the title. It must have been tough following in the footsteps of Stephen Gately so kudos to him.

Oh that's so sad but really touching.

I managed to catch up with the show from last week. Mikey and Mel are my firm favourites and I can't see that changing. He's brilliant and they make a lovely pair.

Just watched the video, and although it was sad, it made me think about how much Stephen was loved by his bandmates
and how much they obviously miss him

Glad to see from twitter that he was training today after not feeling well yesterday after training.
