Thinking of you. I was sad to see she is missing. Whenever I see the words "My Impossible princess" it makes me smile. She is one of the cats from users here I feel I know, just from your description and discussions.

I have everything crossed for you x

Have you phonned all the relevant people up like the vets, rescue's and RSPCA. I would do it again a lot of people that find an animal will keep them until they find its not working out. An animal rescue told a friend of mine too do it. I do hope she comes back soon.

Thanks.

Cats Protection and the vets. Not thought of RSPCA.

Cats Protection are putting an ad in the paper for me.

She's such a beautiful cat, have you thought of putting a poster in the local newsagents/shops window with her picture as sometimes the picture will grab attention more than just writing.

Douglas was a little bit thinner, very hungry but otherwise fine. He didn't look bedraggled or seem distressed at all, so who knows where he was.
I do so hope I P comes home too, I was exhausted from all that worrying.

Did you put leaflets through doors with her piccie on Stud?

She is beautiful, looks just like my Pudding (AKA Queen Perfect Paws)

It is worth asking people locally to check garages, greenhouses, sheds etc in case she has got locked in somewhere.

Fingers and paws crossed here for you.

She's a cutie - I hate to suggest this but when mine disappeared for 5 days (in mid summer, so no snow on the ground) I ended up ringing the council to see if they'd picked up any cat's bodies in the roads around my area. I know it's not a nice thought but it's worth a check.

Hope she comes home soon

sorry to hear IP is missing. please Douglas is back though.

my cousins 3 cats go missing often, she has 3 boys, all brothers, and 1 will be in every day without fail, 1 will visit every couple of days, and the other 1 pops in once every few months as if nothing has changed. he eats his fill, sleeps on her bed for a few hours and then disappears again.

my cat Mr Dudley has been missing 3 times, once for 1 day, once for a day and a night, and the last time he went he was gone for nearly 3 days. i was out calling him every hour or so, shaking his biscuit box etc, no sign. then i go outside and he comes strolling up to me like hes only been gone 5 minutes, and dropped a large still warm dead rat at my feet he looked fine and well, clean, happy, and had obviously just gotten caught up in the hunt i guess. he hasnt gone missing since then thankfully.

fingers crossed your cat wanders home asap

My Oscar went missing on Sunday morning, I was worried sick and eventually found him locked in a neighbours shed yesterday lunchtime.

I haven't let him out again - yet!

I hope P turns up, it's worth wandering around calling her name, she may respond if she hears your voice.

Calling her name may help, I was out in the garden at all hours calling Douglas's name and shaking a box of cat biscuits. So hope she comes home, I really feel for you.

Telling my husband about IP last night and he related a story to me of one of his work mates who has two cats, one went missing January 2001 and in the end they gave up and finally got a kitten in July 2002. Five weeks after they got the new kitten in through the cat flap walked their original puss he stretched, yawned and went straight into the cat basket as if nothing had happened ! To this day they don't know where he was during that time but he was obviously well cared for and none the worse for his wandering.

So don't give up yet Stud !

Good luck with finding your cat Stud. The other posters are correct - cats are starnge creatures and I've had them disappear for a few days and come home like nothing has happened.

I do really feel for you though - it's certainly not nice at all

How funny - I wondered what the cat would have said if he could speak.

I wonder if there was another family somewhere upset that their cat of 7 months disappeared!!

Any sign of your cat yet? She is beautiful and looks just like my jasmine.

We let our kitten out on wed tea time this week and she usually wanders quite close to the garden for half an hour at the most. However Wed evening she didn't come back. I was devastated and couldn't sleep. Thursday morning I got up and made some posters asking people to check sheds and garages. Posted them before people went off for work. By the time I'd got back from the local shop with a poster about 8am Little winnie was standing beside the back door waiting to be let in. She'd obviously crept into a garage as someone was putting their car away the night before.

Really hope your cat turns up soon
