People dislike Kate for their own reasons. When will some of you fanatical Kate fans stop assuming so much. Some of you lot just keep clutching at those straws don't you.

What the hell does it matter what people look like who like or dislike Kate, why are you so obsessed by looks anyway. Kate's no oil painting, if you bothered to admit it ??

Thank goodness there are some reasonable Kate fans on here, like Tally, who are always sensible, where Kate is concerned, and who's posts are always a pleasure to read.

Alert pressed. Suggesting that forum members who don't like Kate must either be ugly ('Ann Widdecombe's uglier sister' comment) or blind ('opthalmologist' comment) certainly does not follow the DS terms and conditions of treating other members with respect.

Kate fans have never struck me as "clutching at straws", they seem rather a pleasurable bunch who are quite happy with how things have turned out. I'm afraid this accusation should be directed elsewhere.

I think there is only one real reason why some people dislike Kate and that us because she proved them wrong. Although I was one of those to get it wrong, I'm not taking it out on Kate because she actually became the "true winner". My disappointment in Alex is not lessend by calling Kate a "slag" like others have

I thought thenetworkbabe's post was offensive enough but Avolon's is even worse. Whatever happened to treating other forum members with respect?

Here's my tuppence worth. Never a Kate fan myself but I have to say these pictured shocked me a bit. Obviously she wearing make up but my god, she scrawny to the point of looking ill - she can even fit into her tiny clothes, you can see the bones in her foot and her upper chest.

I did read some of those "Wicked Whispers" in the trashy tabloids a fortnight ago (I will not repeat them here) and rubbished them but looking at those photos of a woman who can't even fit into her own shoes I do wonder. I do hope the BB experience hasn't left her ill or with other problems - no BB fan likes to see that in any former housemate

Also - I see another thread has been ruin by anti-Alex banter. Why can't Kate supporters support Kate by being pro-Kate rather than anti-Alex or being so rude to Alex's supporters? Or aren't you capable?

See, presuming again. You use any threads or posts to justify any nasty comments some Kate fans make and undermine Alex fans as if they are allowed no opinions, no matter what is said, it is childish behaviour imo.

Maybe i should pull; up some old and not so old posts later and compare the nastiness spouted by some kate fans

Imo Avolon's posts about Alex can be bitter and nasty, and sometimes brought up when the thread is not even about Alex.

Let me put you right on the winner loser thing. The last four in BB3 it was stressed were not loser's, they were all winners, as we were voting who we wanted to win, not voting someone out, if you are going to call Alex a loser, then if must go for all the other 12 as well in BB3.

Alex came 3rd, now tell me how well all the other's who have come 3rd in BB have done since leaving the BB house, if you need a reminder of who they were, I will be happy to oblige. For someone who came 3rd Alex has done exceptionally well imo.

Yes ,you are right, Katya can speak for herself, I never said she couldn't did I ? As I pointed out in the other thread, I am sure she is intelligent enough to make her own mind up, without the nasty tirade Avolon spouted about Alex for no reason. Katya asked for info on BB3 housemates, not character assassinations.

Don't worry about the Kate fan I was speaking of in an earlier post, I wasn't referring to you, so no need for paranoia to start setting in

I think Kate's 'performance' on SU:NK has laid to rest the prospect of any further telly work for her. She had her chance .... she spoilt it, broke the hearts of her few remaining fans, proved her critics were right from the start etc

Kate now has two options left open to her .... Either, return to that telephone sales job of hers or consider marrying her rich boyfriend.

PS - Kate also failed at being a radio presenter. Despite massive publicity her Capital Radio show with Andi Peters also failed and was also axed just as I predicted many, many, many months ago.

Talking of winners, I was delighted to see IACGMOOH's Kerry saying that she felt embarrassed about her win because the others were brilliant and she realised that her success was mainly down to good editing. It's no wonder all the other celebs in IAC adore her.

Kerry McFadden makes a good point. Her honesty provides us with further evidence to suggest that Kate's win on BB3 was down to the favourable editing.

As soon as she left the BB3 House, the public began to see the real Kate that had been kept hidden throughout BB3. They soon lost interest in her, hence the failure at RI:SE & Capital Radio.

I think you mention the same thing I saw a few weeks ago in one of the gossip pages

as I recall the comments were not nasty (more concerned) - and I got the impression the female reality star they were talking about was perhaps someone they liked and they had not expected her to get into trouble ...

There are so many female reality stars-it's impossible to know who they were talking about ...

Kate was dreadful on RI:SE despite her best efforts to flash her gusset....glad to see she hasn't learned a thing....

I don't think anyone called Kate a slag. Posters, who may or may not be Alex fans, were simply commenting (for the most part, in a humorous fashion) on her appearance in those photos.

Those pictures of Kate are not flattering , she also looks ill.Some posters have made rather barbed comments.

He pointed out plainly and simply that he wasn`t Gay ,
but being a model and not the most macho man in the world , he could understand why people might get it wrong.
He also said that he knew loads of Gays from work , many of whom were very good friends ,
and that he was NOT going to stop seeing those friends for the benefit of the Tabloids and Bigots.

I suppose it depends on which side of the fence one sits on, but from my perspective, the anti-Kate banter has ruined what began as a positive thread.

I think the BTR debacle proves that favourable editing does not make a winner or Jade would have won by a landslide. The truth is Kate won because people voted for her in their droves basically because they liked her - and many of them still do.

Apart from the Jade threads the pro/anti Alex, pro/anti Kate stuff has been the mainstay of this forum for well over a year.................except for a brief period when BB4 was on, quickly to be forgotten

As someone who has at different times been anti-Alex, pro-Alex, anti-Kate and pro-Kate I think the banter has on the whole been conducted in good spirit on all sides...................from my point of view the line is crossed when FMs attack each other rather than poking fun at the contestants. At that point I distance myself from the poster, even if they are on 'my side'

B.B. has a Press Office.
Press Office = Press Releases.
Press Releases are to push viewer interest and " the B.B. line"
( Remember they were caught pushing the " Jade`s a Pig " theme that was widely used in the Press.)
In the first weeks, they were pushing the " is he , isn`t he " line on Alex.
Don`t forget the B.B.L.B. comments.( think they`re unscripted ?)
Graham Norton too. Followed both "gay " and " pig "lines , until the B.B. line changed.
Another coincidence ?
Given the above,
i.m.o. it is inconceiveable that the Press Office would not promote their editting line on Alex.
They would have seen it as their job.

Aha......The Jade situation on BTR was done so badly it backfired...it was hamfisted in it's bias. The far more experienced Endomol are much better at editing....hence the likes of Kate and Cameron can be the chosen winners....
