Freest/Humax Foxsat and encoding

I've got a couple of Foxsat boxes and I've been copying material between them using an external drive which works fine.

I want to copy a couple of HD and encoded programs and wasn't sure if this would work. Does the encoding prevent me from playing the file on another identical Humax or is that fine?

I can't just try it, the boxes are in two locations.

Encrypted HD will only play back on the hdr that recorded it.
