Still no Sponsor for BB5!!!!

I wonder what the problem is? Given all the hype about BB you would think their would be potential Sponsors queueing up.

I think they are frightened of having their products associated with BB after last year's disaster. There is also the fact that BTR bombed and the feeling is that the GBP have tired of reality shows. If they don't get a sponsor, what's the betting the phone vote cost will go up to 50p???

I still say that letting Orange take over the final ad break, when the show was sponsered by O2 was a big mistake and is probably putting the sort of firms they want off.

For example, if the show was to be sponsered by Ford (why I don't know) and during the ad breaks C4 let Vauxhall plug their latest model, I suspect that the sponser would not be best pleased.

yes excellent idea C.N.S if digi spy sponsors them it would be a huge boost for this site

Perhaps after Jon and Federico left, BB4 should have been sponsored by Nytol.

I'm not hugely surprised they're leaving, for a company in a market as fast moving as mobile phones then I was surprised they stuck around for a whole three years. It's quite risky keeping an image attached to a show that is kind of attached to the Early 00's.

It's a pretty good chance for someone to come and pick up though, they seem to be cutting it quite close though

Oooh! Cutting! (If not a little accurate!!!)

Surely there will be SOMEONE out there to take BB5? It's going to have a fair few viewers still, isn't it?!

I think they'll get a sponsor, but doubt another mobile phone company will go straight in after O2. Also, there may be difficult with products such as Coca-Cola if the show featured housemates drinking Cola.

My guess is it'll be a new company or for a new service. For example, Freeserve is highlight it's links with Wanadoo this summer, so that would be my best bet!

But if Heat did it their involvement in BBLB would have to end.

And with that single comment, Emzi has me champing at the bit for the return of Big Brother.

Not for the programme, but for the fun on here

anyone actually heard of talk talk?

it's a bit of a come down, going from being sponsered by O2 to Talk talk. It's like going from tesco to netto...actually no, netto is well known.

Was BB4 really that bad

‘Talk Talk’ is a fairly new venture by TCW and they currently have a massive advertising campaign going. Clearly you've missed it.

Thought orange might have sponsored the prog as I have had a few text messages and emails from them mentioning BB. We will probably be sick of who ever sponsors after 10 weeks of countless ad`s

It's bad news it's another phone company - it means we can expect another year of abysmal txt msg tickers and irritating phone polls. I'm feeling bad about BB5 already.

I'm not too sure what to make of it. All I know is, on TalkSport, they advertise Dickin's show, and every advert they sing the "Revolutions here, and you know its right..." song and it's really, really grating :-|

From their point of view though, a new company and a failing show (on last year's record) - is this the comeback they need?!
