So they lost the task because Lee had the wrong price and events that did not lead to extra sales and The Hair fires Michael on an inconsequential side issue. Pathetic. The extra grovelling from Lee at the end was also typical of the man.

Two bad decisions tonight but at least we know Trump agrees with himself! I do find him very funny even if some of his decisions are a little quirky.

Think it was the principle. But also on countback Michael was far weaker.

Jo, I think that Lee is becoming more and more slippery as the weeks go by.

However, Sean going on about having babies won the slipperyness award for me tonight.

PS Whilst!

True. But Lee was the best IMO on his team!

Sean -what can you say??

Does anyone know how I can watch the latest episodes that were shown on BBC 1 last night. I set my SKY + Box to tape them, but the hailstones up here knocked it out and ended up with a technical fault.

American universities look absolutely terrible, and these are the smartest kids at school, how thick must the kids who don't go to university be?

I was sorry to see Charmaine go. Her performance as leader was lacklustre, but then so was the rest of her team. I'd have preferred anyone of them to go before her. From what we saw, she got nothing worthwhile from them.

Tarek's main contribution seemed to be going on about a theme, and I tend to agree with Charmaine that "grand opening" is all you need. He's done some good stuff in the past, but he's also had some bad mistakes. I won't miss him.

I think it's incredible that Gold Rush has remained with essentially the same members for so long. Sveknu called them out as a disaster 4 tasks ago. Now I think Lee is the only one of the originals left, the others all fired. Not shaking up the teams makes it harder to tell which individuals on the teams matter.

I think Lee is a slippery snake and I would'nt trust him at all.

Tareq was'nt given another proper chance to shine.

I think the blonde girl will be the winner.

Tarek was in the boardroom for tasks 1, 3 and 5, in addition to 10 when he was fired, and 6 when he wasn't brought in but Trump thought he should have been. So out of 7 losses, he had a hand in 5 of them. His record wasn't great, really, and he'd had plenty of chances.

Have to agree with you there, don't agree about Tarek though, definitely think it will be one of the girls who wins this year, hopefully Sean will be the next to be fired. Having said that I don't like Lee either, he seems to want to sit on the fence when being asked questions now, although I suppose you can't blame him for that.

OMG Sean - what a slimeball. Uuurgh. Reminds me of Alan Partridge somehow.
I want to see Ivanka again though. She seems to have all DT's business savvy with much better hair.

She looks like she is continually breathing in, 100% of the time, in a sort of reverse whistling kind of way though. A little bit freaky.

No, she was rubbish last week, focussing on the wrong issue/person for task failure blame - a bit like her dad really.

Agree about Sean though - his fake tan nauseates.

I've now seen the second of these episodes. It seems to me that Allie is the one who matters most. Without her energy and talent, Synergy would have lost a lot more tasks. On the down side, she can be pretty evil when she wants, and she didn't do well as team leader.

I'm not sure how I feel about the cheerleaders exclusivity thing. Obviously their manager made a mistake and should not have agreed to it, and I can sympathise with Michael for not holding her to it. You do need to keep your business partners happy in the long run. I see Carolyn's point too, but to fire him over it was a bit extreme.

Allie or Roxanne I think? Lee has proved to be either a big hit or a complete miss and cedibility and likability is now an issue. Sean hasn't done much. Tammy (?) seems OK but not outstanding?

Looking at the numbers, the girls charged $5 and sold $2750. The boys charged $3 and sold $1750. Had the boys made the same number of sales at the higher price, they'd have made $2916 and would have won. You might argue they'd have made fewer sales, but I suspect not, as the people there were going to eat and the girls did so much at $5 it's surely a reasonable price point.

So they lost entirely on price. The stuff about Michael being too busy running events to sell is at best a minor factor, and in any case he was assigned that role by the project leader. It was Lee who set the price. Lee lost the task.
