Trump's a law unto himself. What was with not revealing who raised the most money this season? And that 'public' vote? Also stating there's no way he could hire 2 apprentices - as it goes against the ethos of the show - whereas publicly embarrassing last season's extremely worthy winner by asking him whether he should employ 'broken foot girl' as well.

I preferred Lee I must say. Very rough round the edges but a smart cookie, nevertheless. I bet he gets paid more than Sean.

lol...strange he hires Lee but then he never hired Rebecca from the previous series...
saying that- she actually got a better offer, didn't she?!

Can you understand why I was so mad I accidently found out the winner some 3 weeks ago? Hated snarmy Sean, who has replaced the adorable Bill Rancic as "my apprentice" during Series 6 ( sorry if that's a spoiler, I'm watching it on You Tube at the moment)

Out of the two of them I preferred Lee as a person, but he made a total balls up of the last task.

Not my favourite season by a long way.

Southampton Poly
Hey, he thinks it's as good as Oxbridge,

Even if it was the real Southampton Uni, it still is a tier under those.

*shudder* Oh gawd how I loathe Brits like Sean. Poser! Groper and all roiund vile man.

Has Tammy run, or is she hooked up with him? I know the Brit accent gets Americans, but purleeease, dump him. He's a walking, talking, revolting cliche.

I am surprised the Brit won although I couldn't stand either finalist. I don't remember ever reading / hearing anything about his win in the papers which with him being a brit I would have thought you would have done. Perhaps it's because he was just so totally smarmy so the papers weren't interested.

I have done a quick search and all I can find is one site that says they split fairly soon after.
The cache of this site gives an interesting insight into why there was a live vote rather the "the Hair" deciding, not sure if you can see it but I'll post anyway, you have to register to see it the normal way.

Well that's another US series over with - and no more Carolyn either who got fired!

Enjoyed it - but no wonder the ratings were tailing off if people like Lee were getting to the final.

PS Where was Bill Rancid tonighT?
Why was Carolyn fired? She's one of the hottest women on TV.

She made the cardinal sin of upstaging the Donald. Ne'er mind, hopefully she's way better off on the speaking circuit than proving just how much better she was compared to "the hair"

It was on BBC News website, I remember seeing 'Brit wins US Apprentice' or something like that. Which of course ruined this season for me, although I didn't realize it would take several years to ruin it for me!

(I'm gonna stick to downloading them when they air in future!)

Now there's a really long wait until any kind of Apprentice is next broadcast given the next UK series is delayed until after the election. How will I amuse myself?

Sooo incredibly funny; such an immaculate reveal as his 'click' reveals the first page, I nearly died

OMG, that is the ultimate in cringe, absolutely brilliantly toe curlingly hilarious.

At least it's put me in a better mood, I've just been woken up by a blue puppy. He's been chewing a biro and has managed to cover himself and a chair in ink. I logged on to see how I could get the dratted stuff off. Clicking on that website has quite made up for the time it's going to take to try and remove the stains.

Anyone want a 6 month old Jack Russell, black, tan and white with large splodges of fetching bright blue?

Did you notice the press section is conspicuous by the fact it's empty?

He majored in cultural theory

There isn't a course listed now in this - though cultural this and that turns up in a lot of courses. Unless they abandoned the course he majored in a course that he doesn't know the real name of?

Finally looked at Wikipedia for season 5 after watching the final, thing that struck me was Lee's surname being Bienstock - of course one of the exec producers is called Jay Bienstock. Wiki doesn't say they're related but doesn't deny it either. Slight case of nepotism perhaps?

Those photos wouldn't look out of place in a Littlewoods catalogue - not that I've looked in one

Think Lee was lucky to get to the final, twice he avoided the possible chop thanks to his holidays.

Whatever you say about Lee, the boy done good. Only a year's work experience and he made it to the final of the apprentice. Didn't win but still got hired!

Forgot to add he Pm'd 4 times and one 3, which is a good record.

Yes, I know it puts me in a tiny minority on here, but I actually rather liked Sean. Didn't get him at first, but he makes more sense to me now I know that he's half Lebanese, half Irish - so when people take the piss out of him for being fake-British - well, he isn't exactly British in fact. More of a confused world citizen, really; I met quite a few of them at business school and he makes perfect sense to me in that context. His over-the-top enthusiasm and touchy-feely approach (for a Brit) is fairly normal for a Middle Easterner. Apparently he's done well in the Trump organisation and has even had a day named after him in his home town in Florida. Good luck to him; he may come across as fake, but trust me, that ability to put on a big smile no matter what is greatly valued in international business circles!

As for Lee - oh, come on! A little boy just out of college, with everything still to learn and not a clue how to run an event or instil confidence in the client, never mind running a large corporate organisation. I shudder to think what became of the Trump company he was given charge of... oh yes, come to think of it, the property market went belly-up. Surely no connection...?
