Except he didn't, really. He didn't tell Trump that no-one should be fired this week. Instead he accepted that someone would be. What he did next was tantamount to resigning (since they could hardly fire Lee for his religion or Lenny for his nationality), and yet he didn't actually resign. It was just an ill-thought-out mess on his part. His heart may have been in the right place, but he wasn't thinking. He was a guy who couldn't cope with reality.

Lenny did all he could on the task. He had numerous suggestions for the jingle, admittedly all rubbish because he didn't know what a jingle was. Nor could he write the lyrics through not having American as his first language. The team leader ought to have found something else for him to do that played to his strengths. He was wasted where he was.

Lenny has been an asset on previous tasks. Eg the previous week he pointed out that they should use a voice-over instead of subtitles. The only time I've noticed him being apparently at fault was over the generator, and since the observers confirmed that he had worked hard on that task it's quite possible that the fault lay elsewhere (eg with the team leader, who got much wrong that week).

And of course, where the other 2 Jews took their holidays, Lenny chose to work. That was a bit like a Christian working over Christmas. We're not allowed to penalise the ones that won't do it, but the ones that do are hardly lacking.
The anti-Lenny case was left implicit and was that he had similar limitations in previous tasks and the language problem wasn't going to go away. The problem might have been that DT couldn't sack someone on air for being an immigrant with limited lnguage skills - it would look bad. He has to wait for Lenny to foul up doing something. That may be why DT seemed frustrated the other week when he couldn't get at Lenny when he had. .

How do they all play instruments at once.................

Lenny failed at point one when he didn't ask what the people paying for it wanted to achieve.

I never saw that Michael guy before the second episode last week. Where's he been hiding?!

Oh, and I'm starting to really, really dislike Andrea.

I was shocked that w***** was heard at last twice in the episode. And now he's fawning over a senator.

So the first ep prize was to watch someone else get a load of free stuff from Toys R Us

The second ep prize was to basically go and meet the equivalent of an MP. I think I'd kill if I was on the Apprentice UK and Sugar sent me to meet Harriet Harman or something.

Free diamond prize last week was way way better!

The limey is indeed an embarrassment. Him and his fake degree. I was almost just physically sick with his nonsense about "I wanted to go to DC out of respect". Sod right off, Captain Creep. America is welcome to you!

Right person went overall, not just for her mistake with the pricing, but also her poor handling of Lee in that final boardroom. She hung herself anyway by only bringing Lee in.

But if I were Trump I'd have kicked that back-stabbing Charmaine bitch out on the spot. She didn't pipe up at all while she was still at the table and potentially at risk. But the moment she was safe and stood up to go back to the house she gets her machete out and blatantly tried to assassinate Lee. WTF? Who wants that kind of evil cow in their team or company? What kind of team spirit is there going to be next week between her and Lee after she's done that to him? She badly miscalculated there, assuming he would go. Should have just kept her nasty mouth shut. I cannot think of a good reason for someone to speak out like that in the position she was in, given that Trump clearly ignore her "sage advice" anyway!

Yes - and the show was filmed when George Bush was President. You could understand the attraction of seeing Obama's home.

Surprising Trump couldn't arrange a trip inside the White House - he seems to be chummy with lots of politicians (Mayor Bloomberg and Chuck Schumer). That must come in handy when getting permission for his exclusive developments in New York.

I would have hung him. The lower price point was a safe one to make as if they won it would be forgotten and if they didn't he could claim wisdom. He had no real idea where to pitch the price. Then he had the great idea of a bulk sale and ruined it by jumping straight in revealing his bottom price was 3$ which left him open to $2. Worst bit of bartering ever. Either it was possible to get $3 or $3-50 or the sale was so shady that it wasn't worth pursuing particularly if it was profit and not sales that mattered which was never explained.

Would have loved a double sacking with Lee going as well. The guy is a relentless crawler vis-a-vis Trump. Can't wait to see the back of the limey too.

Senators are not like MPs - they are vastly more powerful and have far more status.

Surprised he didn't sack Lee for putting his place on the line to save Lenny when Lenny was clearly bad. It displayed awful judgement. It contradicted the previous week too when Trump sacked Bryce for trying to save most of his team. This week saving a friend was praiseworthy - last week Trump didn't evn understand the argument. . Indeed, DT could have sacked Lenny that week on the same grounds he did this week.
