Yes Supergrass last released a album nearly 2 years ago now but didnt really set the charts alight nor did the singles released from it.

OutKasts last (non sountrack) album sold over 11 million. Theyve been on semi hiatus since. That doesnt mean theyre not one of the biggest hiphop groups of all time.

And Justin just drops albums every 4-5 years, which is a trend for the superstar artists. They usually have multiple singles and support an album for 2 years. Just look at Beyonces album.

Her husband died and she stopped making music. She's just finally releasing a new single and album.


To be fair they went on hiatus when Gwen Stefani released 2 very popular albums. She's decided to drop the solo career and they're due back this year.

To be fair a lot of the people in this thread released albums in the past few years and are currently recording new ones.

She released her last album in 2007 which sold over 5 million copies worldwide and then toured in 2008.

Her new album will be out this year.
