Leona Lewis - Broken

I think Leona should release Broken from her album Echo as a single after Stop Crying Your Heart Out. I personally think it's an amazing song, and the chorus is memorable and I really do think it would sell well. I know then it will have been 2 really sad songs in a row but I think Leona can pull it off because she does ballads better than any other style. I also think SCYHO was a mistake to release...Run did well and was a fab cover but I don't think SCYHO will do as well...I may be wrong. (I usually am )

I want "I Got You". I love, love, love it. Next would be "Alive" for me. Or the awesome "Outta My Head".

I'd say they're my favourites and therefore the best on the album

Stop Crying Your Heart Out isn't a single. The next single has been announced as 'I Got You'.

Oh fair enough, I just assumed because she sang it on X Factor.

Why did it chart then?

I'm glad that she did a promo single; it's rare nowadays that you see artists singing songs just from their album, instead of just singing the main single

Because it was available to download and it sold enough copies to chart. Once an album is available on itunes, any song which gets exposure could chart.

I suppose the only difference with a single is that it is announced in advance, gets a video and radio is told that it's a single so they start to play it. Usually (but not always) there is also physical release.

But the digital age is blurring the lines a bit.
