Eastenders - Phils plan??
I got a bit confused watching tonight's episode, phil told peggy they should make out like Sam had killed archie, then said something about only drawing attention to it when she was out of the country and then at the end of the episode she is arrested, did phil always intend for Sam to be arrested and were they actually planning on letting her take the fall for it aswell or did somebody else call the police??

Basically, Sam was backed into a corner, she was already being hunted by the police for skipping her bail and now is a suspect in Archie's murder case.
The plan was for Phil to smuggle Sam out of the country again and once she was safely in hiding, tell the police that Sam murdered him, therefore getting the police of all their backs and sending them on a wild goose chase after Sam, even though they would probably never find her. However, Sam took it the wrong way and lied to the police that Peggy murdered him. |

Sorry, I can't see your post Alex250P (it'll appear once mine is posted).
![]() Well, Phil told Peggy to blame Archie's murder on Sam... but only after they'd helped her to do another runner. That's why he got her a fake passport and some cash to fly off to Rio. I bet she overheard them and misunderstood, I think that's why she said to the police that her mum killed Archie. |

Phil hasnt been declared bankrupt and isnt even broke. He sold the Arches for 80 grand and still has all that cash. They simply lost the Vic to Archie coz they couldnt pay back the loan by the agreed date coz the sale of the Arches hadnt gone through at that point.
