Well I thought little Luke deserved an appreciation thread, and noticed he didn't have one.

I follow him on twitter, and subscribe to him on YouTube, and it seems he's still doing the music thing. He comes across as a lovely lad, he's now 17, so I guess his voice has changed, but not that much really!

Yeah he's a nice guy, and apparently his u-stream show was really good, shame I missed it, I was kind of, like, crashed out!

He's planning on doing more of them, amazingly he says he's not good enough to be a singer, so wouldn't mind being a presenter!

Luke's fantastic - I had the pleasure of meeting him in 07, at boot camp - although he got a bit further than me. I've stayed in toucvh with him, and he's now also in touch with some of my friends

I missed his UStream - my mum's limiting my comp time so I don' get too addicted Hope to see one soon thoigh, and even do one myself.

I reckon Luke's good enough to be a singer, but he has the personality for presenting too, so might be able to have a go at both

He really is lovely, I recommend his U-stream, I caught the tail end of one, and it really was fun.

Full of teenage girls telling them they love him though.

I was slightly more restrained, and settled for a simple hello and goodbye.

Would seem a bit weird me coming over all fangirly on him seeing as I've been chatting to him onkine for two years since meeting him! I'd probably say a little more than hello and goodbye - most likely song choices. I've suggested Flying Without Wings so far, and one of my mates suggested Never Forget/Could It Be Magic?

We've noticed that Luke's associating himself with people like Joe in terms of song choices, and suggested him a few more songs that our favourites have sung on the live shows. The only problem with Luke assiciating himself with Joe is, if he reapplies he might not be their first choice to win, through being too similar. He could still make the finals though!

Any other song ideas?

I think he's putting himself in between Joe and Lloyd, which, isn't really a good fit, he needs to find his own style! He does have a pretty tone, but I dunno, he needs to stay away from the obvious 'I'm yours' type songs!

He sang everybody hurts by R.E.M the other night, and I just thought, wow, that's it, that's his sound!

He definitely needs to steer clear of sounding like Lloyd!

Could be an XF theme going on with him, he's done Beat Again too. Could also be an XF theme going on woth the song I'm Yours - Rikki also sings it (fab) and apparently Lucie does too, not heard hers though.

Everybody Hurts sounds great for Luke, apparently he did a Ustream tonight which I missed again because I've been ill! Did manage to chat to him on Twitter for a bit though, we want to do a Ustream duet but don't know how or even if it's possible!

I know it'd be possible on another streaming site called Blog T.V because you can co-host, but I don't know if it's possible on U-Stream. I watched his U-Stream, he had to cut it short, because he was a gorm, and didn't leave a plug free, to plug in the laptop, and his battery was dying !

His sister Kara sang for us, she was absolutely breathtaking ! I think she's better than him, but then, it's probably age/experience and she's also a singing teacher..

Cool I'll have to let Luke know, would be great to sing with him!

I haven#t heard Kara sing but I had heard she was older and a singing teacher. Luke seemed quite pleased that she'd had a go. What did she sing?
