This is pretty bad. How is it the number 1 song? Keisha has a screechingvoice with terrible lyrics, which a 14 year old must have written with a lame ass beat. Actually, the beat is not bad, it is just that she does not work well with the beat. The music world has been transforming into something awesome, with songs that have meaning, such as the songs, Down by Jay Sean, Replay by Iyaz, Bad Romance by Lady GaGa, Fireflies by Owl City, Hurricane by 30 Seconds to Mars, I Got it by Gorilla Zoe, Drop the World by Lil Wayne, etc., but this song and even her album has went the opposite direction. The newest songs out, including the ones Justin Beiber has made (I like a few of his songs, not all of them, I am just making a point) have meaning to them. Just Beiber is talking about love, as with Jay Sean.

To sum it up, her songs are a bunch of stuff thrown together. Maybe if you love Partying/Sex/Binge Drinking this will appeal to you

Amazon.com currently 2/5 stars on album check out the reviews.

How can an album like this be outselling Rihanna's, it's just simply amusing what music people associate themself with nowadays

So because you personally don't like it, then 'DONT BUY IT'.
Hmm.. How odd. I personally gave it 5/5. A good, fun, pop album.
If you read the interview DS did with her, she did say she wasn't too much into acoustics and heavy meaning, she just wants people to have 'fun' listening to her record.
But hey, we all have our own opinions I guess.

Oh no, a few purists who like to tell everyone they are into 'real music' (Jay Sean - Down, Iyaz - Replay? Hardly great songs) don't like it - I'd better stay well away!

Get a life loser. Her album will sell because people like Kesha and her music. You're clearly just desperate for her to fail because you dislike her.

Fair enough it's your opinion, but to say' DON'T BUY' to other people? It's just simply amusing how sad and pathetic some people can be nowadays.

I must admit, I was a little dissapointed, I thought alot of the songs would be better but there are quite a few growers on the album, just because you didn't like there is no need to order the rest of the world what to do.

Personally it's not nice to make a hate thread about the album. Boo Hoo you don't like it. I don't like Susan Boyle;s type of music but do you see me hating on her on a thread. Uh no, because i have a thing called respect and won't try and make people's opinions change.

I'm just disappointed cause i just bought it to see what the buzz was about, it now seems to be a total waste of money

I love the album. Its not meant to be deep and meaningful. Its a fun bunch of songs meant to be played at parties.
I wonder how the OP would like it if someone started a thread called "Jay Sean Album is rubbish and overhyped DON'T BUY IT" Doubt he'd be too pleased.

Is it not a bit early to name the most overhyped and worst album of 2010?

I'm disappointed. I thought it was coming out later this month here.

Just Beiber is talking about love, as with Jay Sean.
What an exciting and original theme.

Just an exceptional way to hide her voice, with autotune and full synth locked throughout the album. You will see
She has no talent, she doesnt actually sing, she actually RAPS

See she can't sing live at all

I'm confused, did you hear Tik Tok at all before you bought the album? And you expected her to sing? If anything I'd say the backing singer ruins that performance because Kesha sounds just like the record, but when she drops out at the end of some lines for the backing singer to cover, it doesn't work for me.

I like the album, its fun pop, nothing more and I don't think I've seen it claimed to be anything else. It's good for what it is and was exactly what I expected to be honest. Also credit to her for writing on every single track on the album.

And Jay Sean, songs with Meaning? ok then.
