"Tata Young is a music artist whos career started when Tata won a reality T.V contest as a teenager and has now become one of Asia's biggest artists who is set to go internationally next year.
Tata is partly known in America because some of her tracks have been played in Disney movies aswell as Tata having signed to Sony BGM. Tata has also got the backing from Perez Hilton who's posted about her a few times.
Tatas debut English album with Columbia Records I Believe hit 9x platinum in her home country; achieved the amazing feat of selling over 300,000 units in Japan as a new artist; and struck Gold in many Asian countries. I Believe went on to sell nearly 1 million units across the Asian region. During the same year, Tata also sang the theme song to the Bollywood blockbuster film, Dhoom, whose OST album sold over 800,000 units in India, a phenomenal success for a soundtrack. I love Tata Young!
It's such a shame she's virtually unheard of outside her native country.
"Zoom" is a great track to dance to and with the right promotion could probably do really well in the UK.
