I am going to a posh wedding reception on Saturday night and really don't know what to wear.

I am torn between the following two dresses, what do you all think?

Blue one

or

Black one

With the blue one I was thinking of black shoes and black/silver accessories and not wearing the corsage.

With the black one I was going to go with either purple and silver or red and silver.

Vote for the blue from me........ the black seem more office/smart wear (soz just my opinion!)

I think the black one would look lovely with purple

The blue one looks a little polyester-y for me (sorry!)

I already have them. I wore the blue one to a wedding in August and the black one arrived this morning.

oh no! sorry - the blue one is nice too! Just not my taste (removes foot from mouth!!)

I think the black one. I suppose it's how you dress it, and how you define posh, but the blue one seems more of a fun, dressed up look, but not really posh wedding.

For me the Black one with the Purple. But on the otherhand the blue one is nice "esp" If your a young girl look's more fun.....Have a lovely night...
