Nice to see Bat For Lashes and the incredibly underrated My Brightest Diamond in there. I didn't know Stina Nordenstam had duetted with Brett Anderson either, so all in all... great stuff!

I think it's an excellent list and I have alot of the albums too but there are still plenty I need to listen to. I've enjoyed many more female singer-songwriters than male ones in the last decade and I don't think that's just down to my taste or preference, I reckon women have just been better overall. I also totally agree with the #1 and their description/summary of the album is spot on imo.

It's a shame some of those women don't get more recognition for their talents. As I type this there is Breaking News: Dannii Minogue is pregnant at the top of the page, which says alot about the depressing, superficial, celebrity-obsessed culture we have at the moment.

It is good to see that it has stirred up lots of discussion all over the place which is the purpose of these sorts of lists I guess...

I know there's at least 30 albums on there that I now need to get my hands on!
