I used the 'SEARCH' facility on the Humax ..which was most useful..
in finding about 'Elvis' and 'Cliff' for my wife's upcoming birthday.
The segregation of Radio Items from Tv Items is not at all clear..
but.. be that as it may..
I would definitely like to use the facility again..BUT..
I would not like my wife to see that I have already searched for her favourite people..
as it's a surprise..Elvis was born in the same year..
so it's an expected surprise with a twist over the decades..
Hence I RTFM and found nothing about deleting the listing of subjects typed in..
I realise it could be useful for the following weeks ...
but one can usually clear out such lists in IT systems..
Has anyone found a way to do it yet please?

Just power the box off and back on again - it forgets all the search items, which I find rather annoying myself!

Now that you have quantified the 'Uncertainty' of your original input..
i am delighted to say that i did as suggested and the list is now clear..
Many thanks indeed.

which brought back many happy memories..
