Elvis 75th birthday today
Surprised there's no thread. I'm a huge Elvis fan. Anyone else? Fave songs?
Did you know that one of his 60's singles wasn't played by a lot of US radio stations and indeed many around the world boycotted it due to the title. KISSIN' COUSINS.

dont really like him, cant see the fascination for this seedy karaoke artist who was dumb enough to eat himself to death...

My fave Elvis songs wern't huge hits in the UK. Moody Blue, Kiss Me Quick Don't Cry Daddy and Kentucky Rain.

I agree to an extent ... I loved 'A Little Less Conversation' but for me ... Roy Orbison was always a better singer ... and a lot more humble. Sheila |
