I have the Thompson DT16300, and when i put it on rewind button, i can actually hear fast Pinky and Perky voices..Its the sound that goes very fast on rewind..lol..Anyone else heard it happen...And the audience all sound very funny too, like they have been watching too much of Pinky ,,Perky stuff have a go

I don't have a "Thompson DT16300" but do have a "Thomson DTI 6300" (which may be similar).

The Pinky and Perky voices have been mentioned a number of times before on this and other forums.

This can be made to happen at will whilst playing a recording and using one of the following procedures.

1. Press FFWD until you reach ">> 4" or faster then press REW until you reach ">>"

2. Press REW at any speed from "<" then press FFWD until you reach ">>".

You should now hear the sound played faster than usual.

This works well on the Thomson DTI 6300 and DTI 6021 boxes but not very well on the Vestel boxes.

And you can sometimes get slowed down voices at 1/4 speed by similar tinkering.

I must admit that I have not managed to do that yet.

Hi there just to let yo no Iget the pinky and perky sound to.
I just thought I would mention last night after deleating a program I thought I had lost all my recordings whent in to play a recording all Igot was a blan screen so here is a tip for you all dont think you have lost them ,just turn box of for 5 mins reboot and all your recordings will come back.
