He's not the only on DOI that has left their children for some teenage crush, they need to grow up and stop being so selfish.
Who who who??

Planned or not , it is completely and utterly selfish to leave children, they should come first .
Putting your children first doesn't necessarily mean staying in a relationship with their mother / father - through my work I have spoken to a fair amount of teenagers who say that their lives for a couple of years before a divorce was hell, and that they are much happier being able to spend time with either parent without the tension / arguments / etc.

I can't see how we can judge David just because he has gone through relationship breakups just like anyone else. Doesn't mean he's not a good Dad!

To paraphrase Lady Bracknell from The Importance of Being Earnest.

To cheat on one family may be regarded as unfortunate, to cheat on a second looks like an habitual lack of control.

Hahaha, too true. From what I've seen of him, he doesn't appear to be the sharpest tool in the box.

Didn't she leave her hubby for him - looks like a match made in heaven...or hell!

IMO someone who walks out on two sets of young children can not be classed as a good Dad

Even if he sees them regularly?

Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't, who knows? Some people are seriously over-simplifying the issue though - surely having parents who fight all the time is not a good environment for a child to grow up in, and what about men who beat their wives? Do those children 'need their father' too?

I never said I knew that.

You just said, " IMO someone who walks out on two sets of young children can not be classed as a good Dad. "
" Someone " could be anyone.

More likely Karen Barber. Chris was already divorced before he and Karen got involved, while Karen was still with her husband. Not that I'm excusing either of them - getting involved with someone who's married or in a relationship is just as bad as cheating on your spouse or partner - but I get the impression the teenage crush was more likely Karen's than Chris'.

I also agree, the fact he did it once is bad enough - but twice!!

Also if all is to be believed, wife no1 found out about woman no2 via the press and wife no2 found out about woman no3 via the press. Not the act of a very responsible or loving father...he needs to get a backbone, grow up or seek counselling.

No I think the poster means Christopher Dean. Although he was already separated (not divorced) from wife no.2 his children were only 10 and 8 at the time of the split whereas Karen's daughters were 19 and 17 when she got together with Chris last year - though the 'teenage crush' comment does suggest Karen.
