Got some of her products through today. I bought trial sizes of her Cleanse and Polish, Toner, SuperskinSkin concentrate and Skin repair moisturiser.

I was looking forwards to using them, as people rave about them. But...they really smell. I guess some may like it, but it's like a medicinal herby smell and is not nice. Plus my skin started burning after putting the moisturiser on. So, had to wash it all off and be glad I'd only bought the trial sizes.

Shall pass them over to my mum now and see if they suit her. I've been looking for a really good moisturiser for months now but, so far, not had any luck.

Anyone tried her products and like them? Or does anyone have any recommendations for a good wrinkle busting/firming moisturiser to suit sensitive skin?

Sorry to hear you didn't like them. I started using C&P, tonic and moisturiser in December and haven't looked back. My skin looks better and the C&P gets my skin a lot cleaner than make up wipes.

Perhaps the moisturiser you got to too strong - they do a light version and they do one for sensative skin. Maybe just try each on their own as it might only be one product that doesn't agree with you.

I might try the lighter one. The cleanser and toner seemed ok. My skin felt a little tight, but it always does if I've had water on it. But I think it was the moisturiser that made it burn.
Guess, I'll have to keep looking for one that suits me.

Eve Lom does it for me. Her cleanser and cloth is brilliant.

I have also tried some of Liz Earle's products and find them very over-rated. Also agree with you about the smell. Nivea Expert Lift day and night creams are excellent. They aren't specifically for sensitive skin but they seem to be very gentle. Not sure whether they do them in a sensitive skin range but I'd say they are worth a try because the results are great.

I am in skin crisis. My face is chapped and dry and crusty plus (lucky old me) spotty too. Please can someone recommend a remedy - and fast?!

I am an old user of Liz Earle and found them to be okay but expensive, I am now using Organic surge from Boot which is suiting my dry sensitive skin to a tee. It does smell of rose geranium when you first apply it but this is not a bad thing!

Yours sounds like mine over the last few weeks, damn weather. I've tried a few, the best so far is Garnier 'Pure A' daily moisturiser. It fights spots as well as moisturising, it seems fine under make up too.
It's on offer at Superdrug at the moment (hence me trying it )

I have tried LE and don't rate it either. I have extremely sensitive skin, and elemis is excellent for me. It isn't the cheapest skincare brand, but you can get some good deals on QVC.

I've got sensitive skin and the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish made it break out really badly the one time I used it. I personally think with sensitive skin its best to just use really gentle, basic products. I use Johnsons cleansing wipes and a cheap Superdrug moisturiser for sensitive skin, and my skins the best its ever been at the moment.

I love cleanse and polish but the rest of it is nothing special. The customer service is superb, and I like the fact that the ingredients are natural and not tested on animals.

I wasn't a great fan of Liz Earle. I've been using Aromatherapy Associates Firming serum and moisturiser and they are fabulous. I have a sensitive, dehydrated skin and I really notice a difference.

I love Liz Earle, I've been using her since she launched on QVC. Sometimes I stray and use other products but I always come back. I love her exfoliator!!

Not all of the ingredients are natural, they use parabens.

I have oily t-zone and Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, toner and moisturiser made my face very oily.
My friend has dry skin and she swears by the ESPA range. REN do all natural ingredients and their Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream - Sensitive Skin is very good.
Decleor also do good products for dry skin.
Has the OP ever looked at the webite - makeupalley.com? They have reviews on every product ever and lots of people post their holy grails on there.

I looooooove Liz Earle, love the brightening treatment and the exfoliator is brilliant. I have quite sensitive skin but her products really bring relief when I've been out in the cold and wind and my skin's feeling a bit tight. I'd also recommend Elemis for people who don't get on with her range though and Decleor is good too but quite pricey...

I have used liz earle, I get on ok with it but don't have sensitive skin and use extreme exfoliators on mine - I sell Avon and they do various moisturisers for sensitive skin, my friend uses it and gets on well with it, or nivea as I think they do a range for sensitive. If you have the budget clarins is great as they use plants in their products so most skins can tolerate them, good luck. You may be able to get a refund from liz earle if it isn't agreeing with you, i'd ring them to find out.

Sudocreme. Use a tiny amount and rub it in well.

Cheap options for dry skin are Vaseline, E45 cream and my favourite - Aqueous Cream BP. You can buy it at Tesco and it's a couple of quid. But dab these on your problem area and use another moisturiser over the top on the rest of your face. I love Olay for sensitive skin. The expensive option is Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream which is around £16 for a tube. I use mine everyday and it's been going for almost a year so it's a great buy.

The Johnsons range works quite well for me, it makes my skin a lot softer and I hardly ever get breakouts anymore. I've just started using their 24 hour moisturiser and thats really good, the best moisturiser I've tried so far. I've only been using it for a few days though so we'll see...

Some her stuff is okay but some of it isn`t that good.
