Well, unlike our soaps, which have stories leaked well in advance, with the Australian soaos, the stories are only leaked until just before they appear on screen.

Hence, there were hints and rumours about Jade's departure, and how she would leave, and there was some confusion as to whether she was being killed off or whether she was just leaving. The script producer has confirmed she will able to return for guest appearances.

Yeh thats true aswell. My mam is a twin an her twin looks nothing like her. It's going to be very interesting stuff though. Home and Away has really come up with some good storylines lately, its' become more dramatic. Years ago life plodded along and a really dramatic incident happened once every blue moon, usually a shark attack or a forest fire lol

I don't care about the twins story. I just want to see more of Kirsty! She has to be one of the best looking girls on TV I've ever seen.

Yeh if it happened to a different family other than the Sutherlands, I'd think yeh maybe. But they seem to stumble from one big dramatic storyline to the next, in real life they'd all be in counselling. Rys would never get out of bed in case he meets one of the girls crying!! Again! lol

According to "Sally's Diary" yesterday's episode was broadcast on the 19th of July last year, meaning we are still about 7 months behind not counting the Aussie Xmas break.

"This has come at the most inconvenient time, in terms of where Kirsty's at," Christie says. "She's just got married, she's just dealing with being pregnant ......when did this happen?????

Its all yet to come, we are at least a year behind Home and away in Australia.

I've actually been told Ireland is only 5 months behind Home and away in Oz

The UK is only seven months behind as Home and Away is off through December and the first part of January.

I believe Ireland is five months or less behind. The onyl reason the UK has a bigger gap is due to the year and a bit loss we had between five and ITV screening the show. Thanks to Five's commitment (showing over Christmas and Bank holidays etc), we're catching up quickly.

Hi, everyone, I'm new here and I'm from Australia. I'm pretty sure that it's Seb who dies, this week's TV Week says that he is hanging on the bonnet of car they are in when it goes over the cliff and it explodes!Also there is a picture with Rhys, Kane and Duncan and the caption says "Kane tries to prevent Rhys from hurting Duncan, who has just involved Jade in a terrible accident" so it can't be Duncan who dies. I've also read on a spoiler site thatJade is ok.
I know that TV Week wrote not long ago that both Mitch Firth (Seb) and Kate Garven (Jade) are both leaving the show. And I also read that Michael Beckley (Rhys) is leaving the show, but maybe instead of his character leaving, they might just replace him like they did with Flynn? I'll get back to you guys on that if i hear any more.

Not sure how Jade leaves - they probably won't kill her though (those poor Sutherlands).
Hope Seb doesn't die - would feel really sorry for Alf if he did (ie Roo & Duncan weren't too good to him in the past - then it would be him all on his own now Ailsa is gone).

Coral Drouyn is one of the exec producers on HAA, and she posts on the official HAA forum, and she has said that there wont be any Sutherlands in the show next year!
