I'd love someone from the world of fashion to be involved- maybe Vera Wang? She was rumoured for DWTS and used to be a figure skater- so despite being 61, she'd probably be a graceful mover.

What about Felicity Kendall? She was in the audience quite a lot during the 2008 series and I noticed her in the audience again once or twice during the 2009 series as well.

Felicity would be great. She's only about 4'10 and so is a certainity for Darren.

Just to add some flavour to the discussion rather than add any names...I heard an interview with Mark Radcliffe on the radio the other night, I think it was a repeat but originally done quite recently. He said he was asked to do SCD " a few years back when the standard wasn't so high" (by which I assume he means the overall standard, so maybe during or just after the first couple of series?). He said he turned it down because he didn't feel he was either a new face who needed the exposure or someone who had disappeared from public view, and it sounded like he still felt personally that he had enough work and exposure to not do it now, either.

He said he "thinks" he was offered 30K to do it, and that "they" (presume the celeb dancers) all were offered that amount. This was broadcast on Radio 2 so I am guessing he wasn't saying anything the Beeb wouldn't want us to think might be true.....

Lilia's proven she doesn't need an amazing partner to get an amazing result though, but she definitely deserves a younger partner this year.

Darren I would say someone younger but not necessarily someone fabulous.

My personal choice would be Freema Agyeman, but she's quite tall so she'd go with Ian / James / Brian. Personally I'd put her with James...

Ola will probably get a dud after winning this year, and James deserves someone with both enough natural talent and likeability to take him further.

I agree that Amanda Mealning and James would be a good pairing- both are no nonsense and have a determination to succeed (although Gabby Logan had that and look how it did her)

I have heard Sarah Fergusonn being linked too- she is a huge fan and is a bit tall so maybe Sarah and Brian.
