That was such a stupid pairing, and totally unfair on Ola.

He's about 5'10''... he looks taller in his most well known role because Letitia Dean is so tiny.

What about Gabriel Thomson who plays the geeky son in My Family, he'd be good for a laugh, or Robert Kazinsky.”

Yes Yes Yes
He'd be great and probably very popular.

Toby Stephens YES !!! although I thought Don Warrington would be too much of a serious actor for strictly so we can live in hope ! ”

Yeah, Ben would be quite fun to have on SCD-he seems to have a good sense of humour and a great personality.

I think that Adrian Chiles would be quite popular aswell.

Yeah that was weird - Ola had 2 fairly tall partners in a row, although James is 5'11 and she's only 5'4 so I suppose she's quite used to it! She suited Chris much better though.

Love to see Nigel Harman he is gorgeous! I am sure he could be good, also Charlie Clements too, cant we have someone really well known like Richard Armitage or Rupert Penry Jones!! Also I think Lacey Turner (Stacey from EE) would be fabulous - if she isnt in EE anymore!

Those are two good ideas-i think they'd be good + very popular.

I wouldn't object to either of those

I think it'd be likely that one from 'Lets Dance For Sport Relief' may be on there so perhaps Ellie the newsreader, or Iwan Thomas or Jamie Baulch.

Tiana Benjamin is now also a possibility I'd have thought as a departing EE-er.

I think so to, i would like to see Jamie Baulch do it.
And i agree about Tiana being a real possibility.

21stCenturyBoy-
I would really like Kara Tointon to do it. I read in an interview last year that she wasn't doing it as the BBC decided too many were reporting she WAS doing it, or something similar so hopefully she'll be in it this year.
Jane McDonald would be a hoot as would Brian Conley.

Eesh, after SR I dont think so,

But Steve Jones ... oh yes! ... With Lilia maybe?

If Lilia is paired with Duncan, after enduring Richard, Don and Dom, I am going to cancel my licence fee

That would be an improvement on her last few years' partners! I could live with that Duncan Bannatyne gets a definite no from me though!

And Jane McDonald would be good too, same for Brian Conley.

I said in the other thread I think Freema Agyeman is another possibility, it could be quite easily worked around her Law and Order commitments.

I know a lot of people hate him but I would LOVE to see Jeremy Clarkson on the show! ... It would be hilarious, I'd imagine him to be awful.

He'd have to be with Natalie due to height, but Im thinking given her last partner, she's due a dud!

I'm torn between whether he'd be funnier or Richard Hammond would be funnier (and he could go with Ola, she's likely to get a dud too)

I must be the only person in the world who doesn't want any Top Gear on there, except maybe James May- he looks like he'd give it a real go.

I would like Gareth Malone from The Choir He also done a bit ffor Sport Relief if anyone can remember him from that.....

He looks kinda cute and geeky and as though he would be a pretty good at ballroom, and he also might be able to wiggle a bit.. ...and I would like him for Flavia!!

I was thinking maybe on of the Saturdays could be in line... one of em was on Popstar to Opera Star and another was on the Door.

Would fit with the S Club Juniors thing above as well... maybe Rochelle could do it - she's tall and leggy so could go with either Matt or Ian

I'm absolutely positive that Amanda Mealing has some form of dance training beyond the usual stage-school stuff. I can't find a record of this anywhere, but I remember reading interviews with her where she mentions dance...anyone fill me in?

Ben Shephard I suppose wouldn't be allowed, although I think he's now the only GMTV/BBC Breakfast presenter who hasn't done it and would be even vaguely entertaining. Unless Lorraine Kelly was up for it? Plus Ben wasn't exactly graceful on his DOI clip - maybe they'd let him on the strength of that...

I love the idea of an athlete - Jamie Baulch, or even Darren Campbell, would have big personalities and be generally fab. I suppose Iwan Thomas would be OK but he HAS been on every reality show going and (much as I adored him in his running days) I'm starting to get a little sick of him.

Aaron couldn't do it as he's currently in We Will Rock You in the West End - similarly, Brian Conley couldn't do it as he'll be doing the Hairspray tour during the show, so couldn't really do it.

That said, I'm liking most of the suggestions like Freema Agyeman and James May (who has said a proper gentleman should be able to dance but is hopeless). I suspect James would be the only Top Gear presenter who would consider doing it though.

I like the idea of Freema, and she's only about 5'3 so maybe Freema and Darren to finally give him a chance again. I think she might possibly do it too!

Also, what about Sarah Cawood- she's a big fan of the show and would be a hoot.

She would be funny, and they've had well-known fans of the show doing it before (Alesha and Natalie)
