ive never been to doi tour would love to go and see FRED and Mel live

I'd highly recommend it! They're tour routines are always awesome, and they've got so much more space on tour too because the rink is huge compared with the studio.

Their routines are always a highlight of the tour for me. Whilst it's nice to see the celebs, the pros and Jayne & Chris make the tour.

When you see the pro's skating in the same show as the celebs, you really get an appreciation for how much faster the pro routines are!

Thanks for all the info I'll try and get some tickets I love Fred and Mel routies on the DVDs I do have all the tour DVDs but bet it's not the same to see them live

I would really love to see Melanie and Fred skating one of their own routines on the program- perhaps when Torvill and Dean don't have time to practise their own?

Even any pro couples seems like a good idea!

Showing my age here but I worked on a show when Robin Cousins was skating professionally, and I have never seen anyone as good since. The height of his jumps was breathtaking.

That'd be awesome! Like when they did their Fever routine a year or two ago on the Make Me A Star programme, that was wicked!

I was trying to remember where I'd seen just them skating at the dancing on ice rink. Thankyou! It's been bugging me for ages.

I was very nervous, I thought we were gonna have a Mel v Fred skate-off for a bit then! Thank goodness neither of them were in the skate-off!

I hated that last year When Fred and Mel were against each other in the dance off

On the main show discussion thread tonight there have been some really nasty remarks about Melanie & her appearance.

I & others did defend her but cannot believe some people can be so vile.

Someone even tried to say she wasn't an amazing skater - I certainly defended her on that too.

Mel posted a lovely picture of herself and Fred on her twitter Pretty cute.

As for her skating ability, she's absolutley brilliant and fearless! I would give my right arm to look like her, she's stunning
