Yes when mine went missing, before I'd even come back from posting the leaflets, 2 people had phoned, so it's definately worth it. I'd say it's better than posters anyway because any old idiot can think it would be fun to phone up for a laugh.

Sadly not yet but I got ads in the local newspapers. So fingers crossed. My Mum told me today that her hairdresser's cat vanished for half a year.

My mother in law's cat did likewise.
I visited her one day and there it was on the doorstep. She looked out of the window and I said, "Isn't this your missing cat?"
She was overjoyed.
God only knows where it was all that time. Cat prison maybe.
