I just got a phone call. A lady has seen a cat looking like my Impossible Princess.

She said she would phone me back if the cat matches the photo of her.
Where was the cat seen? Near to where you live?

Yes but she does not cross roads that I have seen. She is more into sleeping in a basket most of the day.

A tuxedo cat was seen in the next street but I presume it was the one that looks like IP who often confused me too as the lady said the cat was not long or big in size.

Maybe she crossed a road for some reason and was spooked by a passing car. There's also the snow and ice to consider. My cat wouldn't go beyond a little area I had cleared on the patio if she could help it when there was snow on the ground. She climbed onto our flat roof at the back and made her way across the rooftops to wherever she wanted to go.

Maybe she's been 'trapped' somewhere through her own reluctance to cross barriers which have spooked her.

I've been looking in on both threads, and I've got my fingers and toes crossed that your IP comes home.

I'm thinking of getting one of those tracker devices to fit on my cat, so you can locate them immediately, within a given radius.

Sorry to hear it wasn't what you hoped for Stud.

I reckon those devices are a good idea as at least I would have known where she is if she had one but she didn't like things on her neck.

Personally I wouldn't use one as my cats don't wear collars.

Thanks Ivor.

Looks good, however, what with Toots' name/address tag plus her tag to let her in/out the cat flap she hasnt got any room left for anything else round her neck!!

She'd end up looking a bit like Mr. T!

Anything Stud???

I guess not otherwise you would have said I am sure?

She could still turn up though - they little monster has probably found some poor beggars to take her in and feed her up! She'll remember her "Daddy" soon though!
