Well

I think this is possible, however they must do alot of touring for around 1 year, whiich should infact be GREAT Promotion.

Once they have established a solid fanbase, thats when they should concentrate on releasing a record.

The americans may however find it hard to understand their lingo, so it may be difficult.

No No No!!! I like a wide variey of music but I find this group just terrible. I duobt they'll do well there's probably many groups already over there what with the rappers.

I love Playing With Fire and Papa, and I don't mind listening to most of there tunes, but Americans won't be able to releate to them, and they won't understand the UK street lingo

Good they can stay out in America

They're too "chavvy" to crack America. I got their album and it's pretty good but there's no way the Americans will relate to the Adidas tracksuits and the "na na"'s and everything.

Currently the americans are listening to complete wack music, so who knows!

Anything is possible

Even the dumbest Alabama hick would laugh their arse off at these clowns.

They'll be dropped within a year and will be stacking shelves at Tesco where they should have been all along.

Well, if they do head out there, lets lock the country while they're gone, so they can't get back in

They're one of the worst groups to surface in british music for years and stand no chance at all at cracking America regardless of how much promo or touring they do; The "appeal" of their music is unlikely to translate to an American audience.

America, is possible I mean look at there charts full of crap music now imo, pop music in America is dying over there it's just lately The look likes of GaGa and keisha who have great records and doing well,

I can't stand N-Dubz but I do like 2 of there songs and I think Tulisia should defo go solo she has a great voice

I can't see them cracking the U.S to be honest. The only reason they're popular here is because 12yr olds think they're wicked.

12yr olds in the U.S are exposed to a higher caliber of artiste

This won't happen. Note how I underline my words too for even MORE attention!

They'd have to learn to speak English first, because I doubt even the Yanks will have a clue what they're on about.

I think DSers can save them the time and money by telling them that it isn't going to happen.

I can't see the americans getting them. They are too british to appeal to the americans. They appeal to my age group and yet I can barely understand a word they say in their songs.

They might end up on a Lil wayne track or some big rapper but I don't see big success.

There's two possible ways I could see them having maybe a 1% chance ..

One: Focus on the fact that they have achieved success from bad childhoods. Essentially the watered down version of the 'american dream'. Most rappers in the states claim to have "come up from the hood" and become successful after rough and violent teenage years, so they could play that side of it up and target the hip hop market.

Two: Bring Tulisa to the forefront, but don't let her talk too much. She's got the look that would appeal to a lot of the american media, but once she opens her mouth ..

But I can't see it .. the music just wouldn't translate and any success would be based on people considering them a novelty act.

I agree about Tuslia. She's stunning and got a great voice. I focus only on her when i listen to their songs. I do the same for Fergie on BEP.

Oh god this is going to be embarrasing. I can just envisage an american version of T4 "now from new england land the n-cubs!" and then they break out into noise and gyrating!

TBH considering all the real ghetto rudeboys are in the states.... N Dubz will look like wannabes..

i would be suprised if they did crack america, i quite like some of N-Dubz songs, but i always imagine young english chavs sitting in the classroom with earphones listening to n dubz. the 'wannabe hustler' types aswell. i just cant see americans going for it

Pffft, I hate how Dappy claims to have come from the 'slums' when in fact his father was in the band Mungo Jerry and he grew up in relative wealth. Hell, they probably only made it into the record industry thanks to his dad's contacts.

I remember reading that when they first surfaced, and it remains the only cool thing I've ever heard about them.

Bring it on. . I think they make good pop music, not the best, but it's catchy.
