So she's been tipped to be quite big this year, so I decided to listen to some of her music, and I have to say her music videos are really fun an dcreative, and I really like Hollywood, but I think Mowgli's Road and I Am Not A Robot are going to have to grow on me, as they are quite weird and I find her voice an aquired taste.

So, what does everybody else think of her?

Proud to say I've been championing her for a looong time - but she's from a lovely village very close to me so she's been well-known round our parts for a while now

Glad to hear you're liking her stuff

I love her videos, and can't wait till I can buy Hollywood, and I Am Not A Robot and Mowgli's Road are deffinately catchy, but it's a bit like with Florence, I need to listen a bit more.

But I ended up buying Florence's album, so I'll probably end up buying The Family Jewels

And a bit off topic, but Marina's absolutely stunning. And her make up is amazing!

I've become slightly obsessed with Marina over the last few weeks. Hollywood has really grown on me big time and I love her musical style.

And the fact that she's smoking hot always helps

Check out her Myspace, there are 5 songs + 1 remix on there at the moment.

I personally prefer both I Am Not A Robot and Mowgli's Road over Hollywood. Not that I don't like Hollywood, it's just the other two are sooo good. Hollywood seems like a safe choice for a single but I hope it does well for her!

I thought the same thing about Hollywood at first, but after hearing it many many times I'm pleased to say it's won me over.

She's so gorgeous in the 'Robot' video. She really makes this blokey bloke swoon... A brilliant voice too.

Quite enjoying Hollywood on Radio 1 playlist at the mo, it's really catchy.
And in a good way, not like those ones that burrow into your brain like a parasite.

She sounds a LOT like Siouxsie and yeah she's a stunner as well!

I've just become a fan. Love Hollywood.

I also really like the others I've heard: Mowgli's road, I am not a Robot and Girls Girls Girls. I can't wait for the album.

Are you following her on twitter like me - mainly because she's (half) Welsh. She seems to be quite a character & quite indepentantly minded.I don't mind her songs - she definately has a voice, unlike alot of other pop singers.I wish she would sing more naturally though - if you now what I mean. She definately seems to have something that sets her apart from the rest.

I don't really "do" twitter

It wasn't her nationality that lead me to like her so much, but it does give me a proud feeling to know that my hometown and the towns immediately around mine are producing talent as diverse as hers now - especially seeing as it has been predominantely giving birth to post-hardcore and screamo bands since the Manics and the Stereophonics made it out of here in the 90s.

I like her 4 songs she's posted on YouTube so far, especially Obsessions. Piano and her voice are just perfect combination.
