Aw, I used to have a chinchilla. He'd sit on my shoulder for hours. He had the most vile sexual habits though.

I had two jirds from Libya. Hunca Munca and Sebastian. Cute little things who played together until a thunderstorm came and a strawberry came between them. After that no more cute games and two cages.

not unusual just a lot of them lol

have 5 LARGE fish tanks 4 with fish one for water changes
one contains 2 LARGE oscars (see photo) 150 gallons
http://www.flickr.com/photos/9349576@N04/4269562794/

3 tanks 100 gallons
one large cold water tank
2 large tropical tanks, one has larger fish ie Chocolate Cichlids, ghost knife, large angels, plec etc etc
another has all smaller types and meduim that live well together,
the spare tank is also 100 gallon, use it for growing plants and water changes in all the tanks, each tank has fx5 filters and a fluval, so two in each expensive to start but saves lots of work overall,
so no time for other exotic pets lol

We used to have two huge Oscars just like yours and in another big tank we had two equally huge Mozambique Mouth Breeders and when we moved over 200 miles away, we wondered about moving the fish but the couple who bought our house wanted them so we left them and it was easier than moving them. It was sad to leave the Oscars as we had them when they were about two inches in size and they always seemed so 'human' and were tame (as far as fish go)!

Must have been a wrench to leave them
they certainly are unique amongst fish, when we first had them, we thought now would be the time to introduce a large plec' and the pair of them started the sulking lark, laying down on the bottom hiding etc, one of them even got a bit stressed, removed the plec' and like two kids who got their own way they changed instantly, wag their tails when they think they are being fed, they take food from our grandaughters hand, they even sulked when we did water changes, so now we use a pump to put the water in steadily, sorry i'm waffling

I have a website about them here - www.henryandjoey.co.uk

Do take a look if you wish! (It's a non-profit venture so it has no adverts)

lots of lovely pets. i have no idea what we will do when it comes to selling our house and moving our 150 gallon tank! i couldnt leave my fish but i suppose i could leave the tank and start with a new tank

ive had a mozambique mouth brooder before, he was a stunning big fish, unfortuantely he didnt get along with the 2 lemon fin barbs in the tank so he went for rehoming. one day il have more tanks, and have a big tropical tank for a trio of lemon fins again. i miss those big guys

the pygmy goats are adorable

Aww! Me and bf want a Tarantula when we've got our own house. Not sure if we want a Chilean Rose or a Mexican Red Knee. We want to call her Doris

He wants a scorpion too. And a millipede. I want chickens and ducks!

Currently I have:

4 cats - 2 kittens called Luna and Tulip, a kitten slightly older called Maisie and an elderly gentleman aged 17 called Sylvester.
1 dog - Rio, our red setter. She's three in March.
3 rabbits called Joy, Babs and Teddy. They'll be two in April.
1 cocktiel called Jack. He's about 16/17.

That's it lol.

i think so far this is the most odd i would adore a skunk, my friend used to work at a petting zoo/farm thing and they had a skunk there, she was soooo beautiful

loving hearing about who has what pets, keep it up people, some of you should be charging an entrance fee
