Both versions are otherwise the same and so have the same functionality.
I'd expect that any impact on having slightly different drives concerning power consumption, heat generation and the like would be just theoretical at the moment.
Where you thinking of the difference between the 9300T and the 9150T? Comparing the front display of the 9300T with the 9150 and IMO the 9300T wins hand down even if the price difference is a bit silly. The 9300T's display is also a great improvement on the old 9200T.
The 9300T also has upscaling to HDMI which is handy if that is all you have spare on your TV.
If you want to modify the Humax terrestrial PVR then Humaxrw (
http://humaxdisk.wikispaces.com/HumaxRW) will currently recognise the 9300T but may not work on the 9150T without further development from XYZ123 and a little assistance of a 9150T owner.
