Good grief - Mo and Jean will catch their death going out dressed like that. Have they not heard about the extreme weather?

I enjoyed the scenes with the Mitchells at Fargos. I do hope they make the most of the Glenda/Peggy feud before Peggy departs as it's made for fab viewing. Where was baby Amy though? Not at Fargos nor was she at Jean's party with Jack.

I thought it was good that someone reminded Jane about the fling with Grant, even though thousands would rather forget it. She does have every right to be angry with Ian but she hasn't been a saint either. Great scenes between the two of them though and I'm loving how it all fits around the Archie's murder plot. It seems Archie's murder has generated a lot of different stories for different families.

Poor Todd - he is the definition of the word "naive"! I did like his scenes with Whitney, Ryan and Janine though and it did provide some good light relief.

7/10

Ian is a weasel. Just how many times will he say to Jane that he will change and do anything she wants if she will stay. He never changes. He was ready to put himself back on the market not long after Jane left. What about the blind date he set up in he Vic?
As for Jane, ok Grant may be ancient history but she forgot she kissed a married man not so long ago.

How is he going to explain hitting Archie without saying why?

That's not religious scruples, that's just plain bad-heartedness, Zainab.
My thoughts exactly. That was just nasty, no excuses.

I'm glad somebody remembered to remind Jane about Grant.
Good for Christian. As much as I feel sorry for Jane with what Zainab said to her last night, she IS getting on my wick a bit. She's hardly been perfect in the relationship herself but judges Ian harshly for one drunken episode where he was set up anyway, and SHE'D left him, there was no contact and he didn't even know if she was coming back. OK he was stupid to fall for Janine's trick but like Christian said, he was very vulnerable. He even offers to adopt a baby with her, something he really doesn't want to do, and that's STILL not good enough. Jane wants to sort herself out and decide if she really wants to be with Ian after all and not just for the kids with come with him.

OMG! I've just been sticking up for Beale the Squeal

Having said that hearing: 'Jane really could learn something from you' '(or words to that effect) has got to hurt!!!

LOL - we've all got that "Meeting long-lost children" outfit somewhere.
Yeah, mines hanging at the back of the wardrobe somewhere, you know, just in case a child I've forgotten I've had turns up!

Good question, where IS Masood?

Dont bother Janine - probably another cheap one-way ticket to Poland and one last bollocking from the old man....
LOL! THAT would be fantastic and serve her right

*stand up and applauds* Well done Tamwar! You tell your Mum, that was just spite pure and simple. I hope Tam goes in a huff with her and doesn't speak to her for ages.

my guess would be albert!
The dog or the Doctor? I hope it's not Albert the dog doing the babysitting

So everyone walking RIGHT BEHIND Jean and Bradley can't hear her big gob then?
THAT is exactly the scenario that Bradley was worried about when Stacey told him that Jean knew their secret. I love Jean but she's got a gob on her! A bit like a female Brian Blessed sometimes

zainab is so vile and bitter, she goes on about religion but she hardley comes across as religious when she goes out of her way to show how vile and mean spirted she is.
She's not coming across very well is she?

Great end scene. Enjoyed tonights episode. This week has been so much better than last week.
No more E20 teenagers, lovely

I'm also glad that Peggy is having that Glenda investigated. That woman is just too good to be true and there's something dodgy about her.

I think to be fair to Ian, he set that date up because Bobby wanted a mother and he was trying to find one for him .... something daft like that anyway!

Really enjoying this week's ep's ... lots of simmering storylines. I don't think either Ian or Bradley killed Archie but the writers are having fun playing with us. I agree with the poster who said Bradley's confession will be

Spoiler

It's a shame Masood is not around, as the whole dynamic of Zainab and Jane's fight and then Zainab telling Jane about Ian would be nicely rounded off if he was there, esp given that he recently kissed Jane too ... oh it's a tangled web ...

Whoever thought Whitney would be involved in the light hearted scenes of an episode, not a miserable face in sight. I liked that foursome, Todd with Janine and Ryan .... so good.

This week so far has made up for the craptasticness of last week. Never mention the teens and hopefully never see them again. (I know we will, but best to pretend not.)

Whitney is so pretty when she smiles I think this Todd is going to be good for her.

I also like their scenes in the restuarant especially when Ryan crushed that poppadom in such a manly manner! Oooh I'm scared

Now that the Mitchells are broke, why would she be interested

zainab is so vile and bitter, she goes on about religion but she hardley comes across as religious when she goes out of her way to show how vile and mean spirted she is.
I got the inmpression that she was feeling rather guilty

Good episode. I really like Todd and Whit together as a couple.

I thought Zainab looked remorseful after she took the laptop round to the Beale's too. I think she reacted in anger and then regretted it - even more so after she tried justifying her behaviour to Tamwar.

Most of the time I think that Whitney looks like nothing special, other times I just think she looks quite nice. She really did look beautiful in the restaurant tonight, though. Stacey looked good as well.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm already feeling sorry for Ian, and The Powers That Be haven't even started on him yet. He may be a weasel, but he's our weasel

Yeah there are times the girl can look really unappealing but there are other times the camera gets her good side..Her face is pretty chubby for such a slim girl which is strange
Good episode. I really like Todd and Whit together as a couple.
See I dont understand how anyone could like them together when todd is so unsure of himself and is having to suck up to her all the time..And when hes not sucking up hes walking on eggshells just to keep her sweet..Whats the relationship going to be like when he actually grows a backbone..Its all too one sided right now he gives she takes..
What made Ryan like Janine again all of a sudden?
To be honest I dont even remember how they fell out was it because she dumped him for archie? if so it probably doesnt do the pairing any favours by making such a reconciliation happen off screen..The two characters are ill fitted and chemistry challeged as it is..
Peggy on top form
It seems ever since it was announced that she was leaving she has been featuring a lot lately..And we are seeing her in stories that dont revovle around the vic, which has been a rarity for most of her tenure..Whatever the reason for the change is, it has made her a lot more interesting..
this is one of the best times for eastenders ever.
Yeah I dont remember a time the show had such a balance erray of characters..You could really feel a strong nucleus in tonights episode..Kirkwood better not mess up this dynamic, the showis really on fire

She's the Mitchell's dodgy 'brief' ... lawyer, solicitor or whatever ... she usually pops up when one of them is in trouble with the law and get's them off .... she's not really a private detective though so not sure why Peggy was calling her ... maybe for a recommendation!

Re the Whitney debate, I saw her in Tesco's a few weeks ago and although she must have come straight from the set, ie lots of heavy make up, she's really pretty and much softer looking in real life ... very smily too!

Zainab is a right cow.

And honestly, yes Jean, lets discuss what's going on with with Bradley and Stacey(which they are emphatic they don't want anyone to know) when the others are right behind them. Cos there's no chance of them hearing is there?
