Is it my imagination, or does Jason get asked more often for his opinion than any of the other judges? Why? He's not head judge is he?

Because he's the most controversial. And that's it! Scores low, makes nasty comments, therefore makes good TV (according to the DOI PTB).

I'd much rather hear from Nicky, Karen and Robin who can tall us something about the quality of the actual skating and educate the viewer in the process like the judges on Strictly often do.

Most of what Jason says is stuff we can see for ourselves. We know when someone's entry into a lift looked ugly or when they didn't express the dance through their face. It's not rocket science.

The way Holly kept asking his opinion on Sunday really wound me up, I want to hear from Karen, Robin and Nicky who know about Ice skating, I am not interested in this Nasty self opiniated Man....Has he got it written into his contract that he gets to voice his opinion more than the others!

Emma quite impressed me, she's certainly better than Henshall. I have to say am not keen on Karen on the panel, but only because she trains them and is therefore too emotionally 'involved' at times.

Jason can make quite good points, but he's obnoxious in the way he says them.

I wonder if it winds the other judges up as well, they must have comments ready for each skater, then Holly doesn't bother to ask their opinion and goes back to Jason yet again.

This does get very annoying, and often Jason will give a very low score so Holly will go to him just so he can explain himself.

I tend to think Robin is the best judge. Karen is too emotionally involved, Nicky can be very erratic and Jason is too personal.

I remember one time last year where Nicky barely got asked for his opinion the whole show and when they finally did come to him they had to say his name twice 'cause he just wasn't expecting to be asked at all.

I miss that Defrosted program where they used to take the time to chat to the judges after the show (and have some fun with them). Who knows, maybe this DOI Friday thing will get the judges on sometimes.

I swear Robin had two comments, Nicky and Karen had three, Emma and Jason had several.

But Jason makes NASTY COMMENTS.

After Danniella, I think they asked four of the judges for their opinions, which I was quite surprised (but pleased) about, but after that it was back to two most of the time. To me, it seemed that Emma got asked a lot as well and Nicky and Robin were hardly ever had a chance to comment. If they're just going to ask a couple, perhaps they should ask one skating judge and one performance judge each time.

Was Nicky asked before he gave Heather a 4.0 ? If not, he had to do that to stand out enough to be chosen to give his opinion.

My cat knows more about the technicalities of skating than Jason Gardner. He really is a rude and spiteful man with the most vicious mouth. He is so completely up his own backside he could clean his teeth from the inside.

Whereas Craig Revel Horwood can be perceived as being nasty - he does know what he is talking about and gives constructive criticism whereas Mr Nasty just makes horrible remarks for the fun of it. Some other members of the panel of judges looked shocked at some of his remarks and why - because they were totally uncalled for. Programme makers may think this is acceptable but in my book it is not, especially when the man himself is not known for his work on the ice but is only well-known for having a mouth like a wasp's ar*e.

I have tremendous respect for anyone who has the guts to learn to skate. Unfortunately Jason Gardner lost my respect a long time ago - pure poison.

I think Nicky justified his 4.0 for Heather.

He's looking at skating technique which probably goes over most our heads because we aren't experts. We're too busy being dazzled by showy lifts and don't appreciate enough what the celebs are doing when their blades are on the ice.

he made LOADS of mistakes in his Joke Job of fashion reporter on This morning last Friday..I would so love someone to pick up on every single error he's made whilst doing this..

I think he needs to cut people a little slack we all know Jason you are just happy to still have the main job.

Was Jason scouted from BBC because there are no nasty Pro Skaters? I think they should change the panel to Karen and Nicky marking just on Skating, Jason and Emma on Performance, then as head judge, Robin marking both.

and Jason CAN'T skate so the man actually knows nothing about how difficult it is to perform on ice. I have a suggestion - let's have a new programme called "Jason Learns to Skate" and have a panel who will pick him up on every single mistake he makes and put him through the wringer.

Would love to see that Let him see just how hard it is to concentrate on smiling, performing etc., whilst trying to remain upright on ice if you haven`t skated before never mind dancing on the ice!

Alright...he goes a bit OTT at times but I find his 'pantomime villain' act pretty funny most of the time and he does say a lot of things that are true but the others just wouldn't mention.

His comments about Sharron being 'like a tree' and having 'angry arms' were a good example.

I hope she took notice because I do think she could be good...a few bllet classes would help her no end.

Incidentally, has she always been so thin or has she lost a lot of weight?
